Although annoyingly it doesn't seem like I can play the base BF3 game from it yet, and its stuck as a pre-order. It seems that that version (which includes the original game) isn't available until 11 September.

Perhaps that's why you can't play it yet.

You might get playable fps with full ultra with both cards if you either overclock heavily or lower aa.

Jimland has a 670 with an overclock and he says he notices lag as soon as he enables aa.

no not really, i feel like im gonna have to pay for a BT line to be installed and take BB elsewhere. i connected today and had a ping of 12, but the packetloss was so bad i rubberbanded from one half the map.

Why are you using a program meant for determining max MTU for packet loss?

cmd prompt > ping -n 100 bbc.co.uk
 
Is it me or are there fewer populated servers these days? I only filter European servers to keep ping low but I only see about two dozen at most in any search and most of those are deserted.
 
Don't hate me for being noobtastic (a quick google didn't show anything) but has the m16a3 been removed?

I opened battlelog for the first time in week and noticed my top assault rifle was the m16a4. Now I never really used it as I didn't like the burst fire so I was a bit confused, thinking maybe my brother had played on my account. On closer inspection I can't find the m16a3 listed at all, either in the unlock progression section or the weapon stats list.


Someone please tell me I'm not going mad.

Edit:

I'm not mad, it seems they've merged the two weapons in battlelog.
