No.

I find that when I fill up completely it uses the first half really quickly. When I put just over half a tank in it seems to last a lot longer. Psychological perhaps? lol :D

The fuel gauge isn't linear, though this is usually more apparent in the 2nd half of the tank.

I fill it to as much as it will take. Which is normally a lot of clicks after the first click!
Vast majority of the time i do this, just for convenience, i dont get much to a tank so i try to get as much in there as physically possible, i dont quite understand why you wouldnt want to, bar maybe being skint and only being able to afford so much, or it not being your car.

actually i lie, there is another occasion that i dont brim and thats if i have to fill up anywhere other than a shell, i'll just fill it enough for me to reach the nearest V-power pump, then brim it when i do get there.

Used to put £20 in at a time before I had a credit card but now I just whack the whole lot on the credit card and be done with.

Save more in the long run as i'd always be filling up before!

go through 3/4 tanks a week so yep gets brimmed at every fill beyond the first click and right up the filler neck.

I've removed all the interior and passenger Recaro from mine, saving about 50Kg.

But only because I've put on about 50Kg this summer through wine, wine, Italian food, beer and beer :(

Oh and to those complaining about losing less money from your account......Really??? Do you get 9000% daily interest on that specific week? Thought not.

Get yourself a cashback CC, I earn 1% on everything I buy with mine, plus it helps you focus on managing your monthly spending. It really is simpler than Alexander Meercat Simples!

My MX5 seems to be linear. Except that at any time it has a quarter of a tank more than the guage says :p

Someone has Inception'd your gauge!

You should have invested in training to ensure protective projections kept Cobb at bay.

Brim it most of the time, when I have a rental car when mines in for service I put as little as poss; most garages round here have a minimum of a fiver

I fill mine to the top. I don't like filling up, so will do it as little as possible. My dad, though, puts in like £10 at a time, so he has to go to the petrol station on virtually all journeys, such a waste of time...

Thank goodness there's no easy way to store electricity. I swear some people here would stockpile it and start hedging against higher prices.

"No Audrey - we can't boil the kettle today because the electricity price may fall tomorrow. You can have two cups of tea then instead of one."

Brim my tank every time - At the rate fuel prices are going up, it's just going to be more expensive next time...
More importantly, don't want to waste time/fuel driving to a garage every day.
