Planning to throw one of mine into the PS3. Not looking for performance increases per se, mine already seems to have a dodgy mechnanical drive and 'stutters' with DLC on the hard disk in the same game that streams stuff fine from the optical disc (yet doesn't on my bro's PS3), figured this ought to cure it
