HAve you ran 3dmark 2011 yet?

I get 6350 with my card flashed. Be interesting to see what stock scores are unclocked, i think around 5800 or so.

Im clocked at 940/1400 on stock volts for your own info. Up from 850/1200 default.

What happened to the days of being able to just up the mem and core with software rather than having to flash

Ive not overclocked since the days of my X850XT PE ha ha

Is the m17 and m18 comfortable to game on playing FPS?

Does the keyboard flex at all?

Also would it be a good idea to buy an Alienware from the US? I've found a reseller in the US who are selling Alienwares with much better options for memory and SSD than Dell UK and a hell of a lot cheaper to. They offer IC diamond paste on the CPU and GPU. There laptops come with the option of zero dead pixel and worldwide repair through Dell.

No i meant the dell outlet uk.

Is anyone round later to help me snag a m18x r2 with dual 7970s preferably red?

You can just do that, but some people get problems with sync when you overclock, I did, which is why I had to flash it, its fixed now anyway so theres no hassle for future and the temps havent changed really.

Well worth it for the extra 10-15% boost though

To be honest, m18x r2's with dual 7970 are like hens teeth, but yeah ill have a look and see if anything comes up.

you dont really need crossfire one anyway, a single 7970m will play pretty much everything at 1080p, its also upgradeable so next year you can stick in a 8970m or whatever.

What do you mean by sync?

I think i shall have a go, what kind of temps does yours run under load and what is safe?
