I think that's a slight exaggeration, although the last twice I have went farming with Fragger I did get a legendary each time. That "Thing of the Deep" I found went for 6.5 Mil, maybe I should give you your "taste" as they say in the Sopranos ;)

It should be clear to you all, add Fragger and go farming with him, he'll get the legendaries out for you!
 
Been farming act 3 with my witch doctor and not really had anything good yet apart from some gloves which I'm using now. Stopped playing my monk and barb as I'm enjoying the wd, dogs and gargantuan seem spot on and can tank just about anything. No legendarys here either in this patch
 
Anyone able to help out with act2 almost finished it by going in and out of coop games think ive got about 3 or so more quests to do

be nice to finally get to act3 lol

I think the pets are fairly balanced now after the initial 'omg they won't die against anything' on Act I/II. I'm clearly overgeared for Act I and somewhat for Act II. By Act III they were starting to die against some regular mobs and the dogs would usually suffer casualities against elites. By Act IV the dogs were almost useless with my current gear as most enemies wouldn't take long to kill them (and Mallet Lords would 1 shot all 3) and elites would usually kill all the pets pretty swiftly.

So far I've been working through the game on my WD rather than farming. Now that I've hit Diablo and I can't see myself beating him just yet without either a gear ugprade or by changing my build specifically to deal with him (or both) I'll probably give farming Act III a go as I didn't have too much trouble with it when I played through.

What do people do as WD on Act III? And more importantly, how long does it take/what are your stats? I mean you could always run the entire act from start to finish but that would take hours. Or maybe start in the Keep Depths lvl1 and work through Ghom to the Siegebreaker. Start on the battlefield, get 5 stacks and work through from the Siegebreaker to the end? Or just start inside the mouth of hell and work through? I'm thinking of either doing Ghom/Siegebreaker or Cydaea/Azmodan, probably the former as Hulking Phasebeast elites can be a major problem.
 
Even though Act 3 and 4 have higher percentages for dropping ilvl 61-63 items I find it's much easier and quicker to farm Act 1 and you get more items in the time it would take to farm act 3.
 
Between myself (Paragon 9 nearly so not 'too much' played) and my online groupie (Paragon 21) we've not seen a single legendary drop post patch ;( had nearly 40 pre-patch though which is .. no consolation at all.
 
I don't really like farming act III either. Keep is so annoying if you die and it's generally a lot slower with fewer good farming places I find than Act I. Does anyone every farm act IV or is that just stupid?
 
Go my first Legendary! Got the Gavel of Judgement. It looks mahoosive. Not good enough to replace my current weapon though.
Hopefully will sell ok, better stats than most of the ones on the auction house however the prices seem to be anywhere from 200k upwards! So not as high as I had hoped.

Added some more dex without compromising other stats for once. Should be able to add some more as well if i get a new belt with more dex.

Was playing act 2 last night and was dying a lot less. At least now with all the loh i have a chance against elite packs in 4 man coop with people that are not too good.

Will be playing over the weekend so anyone can add me and we can do some coop. sekular#2993

I think act4 is slightly less annoying for me but you just manage to get 5 stacks and you've nearly killed diablo. Ponyville is even worse though lol.
Some of the trash in the later area of act 3 is so bloody annoying as a melee, the succubus things and the fat gits that empower other demons around them whilst doing an impression of usain bolt round the map.
Having said that though act 3 is still pretty smooth with a few deaths maybe on some combo's

Agreed. Plus the mobs are much more troubling than most Act III mobs. As a Barb, the single worst enemies on Act III were probably a toss up between the Blood Clan Occulists who would shield things CONSTANTLY making elite version of them seriously annoying to fight and Succubus that would CONSTANTLY backstep away from you, even worse when they were Molten, which they almost always frigging are. As WD though, so long as they don't have some irritating combinations of Jailer/Teleport/Mortar, I didn't have much trouble with anything bar Hulking Phasebeasts.
