Samsung 830, great price per gb and performance is great. No problems with mine, and no need to update firmware yet. Samsung SSD Magician is a nice app too.

I read all the horror stories on the Agility 3 & thought they couldn't be that bad, I bought one and it lasted 4 weeks

Replaced it with a 830.

Got a 60gb and a 120gb Agility 3 and haven't had any issues whatsoever.
Had the 120gb about a year and the 60gb for about a month (almost filled it with no noticeable performance degradation).

All good for me, but time will tell I guess.
