*** ArmA II Thread - OA, CO, PMC, BAF ***

Acre still annoying me, think it might be my mic settings. I can hear the beeps fine, quite loud, but any voice is like whispering level. Put that behind a chopper and its hopeless. Marker can ypu post the settings you were using - whihc radios, frequency etc. i was cycling through all 3 i had - standard, the uhf and the vhf, could hear comms at same level regardless.

Was fun though, dan and nick as paratroopers lol landing on that hill, getting wounded then you rocketing them :)
 
Possibly you have lowered your headset within game tonight..

Doesn't happen to anyone but me, my hearing and voice lowers as well..

Although I will post my settings..
 
Oh is that the lower headset seating??? ahaha, i thought it meant lower headset as in put the thing down. I was pressing that and trying to see something happen in third person ahaha. That would explain it then. Post your settings anyway, would be useful to know what the common ones are.

Edit - trackir playing up now. For some reason my view is jammed over my left shoulder. Hmm going to have to start unplugging bits!

Anyone know of any decent single player missions? Tried playing the standard ones but my team AI keep bugging out or doing stupid things. The enemy AI always seem so much better than my guys!
 
Guys

I am going to recommend the use of six updater..

Very easy to keep up to date with mods used on the server..

Basically go to sever browser, search for the server and you can automatically download the mods to play..

I still use arma ii launcher to run game though...
 
im using pw6, whyever the hell they called it that. works fine. Marker just added ace so playing some co op. I launch it through pw6 too.

I thought one of the helicopter ones was good. You must complete various pickups by a certain time, good practise because theres nothing worse then a bad pilot or one who cant land :o

You guys are actively playing this now ? I might have to reinstall, its always such a hassle getting it working on a particular server

My pc or connection couldn't handle the megabomb last night lol, too much going on in a small place ping kept going to 700 then it froze :rolleyes:

Those sounds really do change the whole atmosphere, had some epic firefights!
 
Yeah frames wernt too bad think its just my **** connection. It did the same in DayZ sometimes if I'm in city with a lot of zombies, the joys of DSL internet.
 
Ive never laughed so much.I think we need to put that mission in rotation Marker .
:)

On a side note i still can`t find the second server in six updater.So ive updated the mods manually.Anyone any ideas why i can find the Murder Inc Clan server
but not the Patrol Ops 2 one?
 
Same thing with me using play with six. Search for ocuk and only get the dead insurgency one? Dunno why. End up putting in the IP everythime. Worth it for the auto updating though!
 
Guys.

As far as I know it is game spy not finding the server for whatever reason..

Do a couple of refreshes and clear down the server cach, should find it then..

If you search by patrol, it is the only server I have found with patrol in the name..

Guys, please suggest missions. I have found one last night, think I might have uploaded, the mission is a water assault by special forces..

If one of the admin looks at the mission files it is a chernarus mission..

I will activate STHUD tonight when I get home... Found out what the problem was, will be able to fix it quickly... Please have it in your mod folders ready to activate..
