with about 100hrs gameplay to get a good item a friend did the same £75 with the launch of D3 (first week)

I know I'm carp, I just can't seem to avoid getting touched by him on his attacks and I run out of discipline so quickly. I get through the first two stages probably 60% of the time, then I can't knock him down by more than about 10% before I get a 1-shot from his claw attack. I guess I'll keep on trying but it's getting dangerous for my health; I'm likely to put a fist through my screen at some point :(

The fact jagged spikes no longer procs life on hit killed dh tanking and NT are the 2 im thinking of. SS is still powerful enough id consider that a balance.

Ill leave this, I can tell from your previous posts that beligerence is a speciality so ill stop feeding the troll.

You mean I won't agree with you that the DH is getting harsh treatment and unjustified nerfs so I must be trolling? From day one the DH was considered one of the easier classes to play and after swapping to it from Wizard I had to agree with that assessment. I just built mine as a glass cannon once I started farming act 3 and after playing Barb I decided I couldn't stand it anymore.

i know what you mean about the wall. I.ve bought a few things last night for my barb, up to 53k dps and 66k hp i think.
I.ve swapped my exp gem for a vit gem in my helm to see if act 3 goes a bit smoother

Ai I realise its not the best, but it was cheap (3 million) and I cant seem to find anything that would be better without splurging my entire bank balance on a small upgrade?
 
We're all in the same boat really. I managed to get really lucky last night and got an upgraded 1 hander for my witch doctor for 1.5 million. Upon searching the AH it's probably worth 10 mil+.

Get a different chest item with proper stats on it, and start trading some hp for all resistance, starting with your boots. Thats the way I'd go anyway.

Actually if you add me I have a decent chest you can have

71dex
120 vit
74 all resistances
3 sockets

btw to the folks messaging me during the day ingame, I tend to leave it logged in so I can check the AH quickly but I'm not actually at the keyboard 95% of the time so if I dont respond I'm not ignoring you, i'm just not there (and keep forgetting to update my status!)

Ah yeah, the chest is one I'm using for Act 1 farming for the extra gold, I have something with 170ish dex / 100+ vit.

Yeah boots and shoulders seem to be my weakest slots I would agree. Cheers for the advice, I'll have a look and see what I can find!
 
whats people opinions on dual wield or 2h with a barb?

im currently using a decent 2h as its simply the best ive seen/been able to afford. but i am thinking about trying to switch to dual wield at some point if it can yield more dps but for all i know it might not be worth it
 
Gonna try and sell my account on some other forum or something. Spending too many hours farming and getting nothing back and I'm really bored of it now. Plus I want to try GW2 out.
 
have a look at my profile Semi, nowhere near the DPS you can do and to upgrade my weapons further will cost a good bit. I could upgrade some other parts of my kit, just haven't got round to doing it.

But personally I find it more fun dual wielding, especially when you jump into the middle of a big crowd with berserker on!!! With the LoH, rend and revenge you can survive almost any crowd, at least for a while. Worst possible scenario for me are distance elites who can teleport, utter nightmare!

How can you say that? You've been much luckier than most of us. :)

Anyway, ownedcore is probably where you want to go if you're selling. Gimmie that staff though, lol.
