which act are you guys finding all of these uber drops? 3? anecdotally i'd say i've had better drops since the patch, but no legendaries or set items. but then i spend most of my time in act 1 as I really dislike act 2 :P

Anything can drop anywhere in inferno, however act 2 & 3 have more chance of dropping an ilvl 63 item, so the chance of a decent legendary/rare is quite a lot higher.

Hell – Act III and Act IV
iLvl 61: 13.9%
iLvl 62: 3.45%
iLvl 63: 0%

Inferno – Act I
iLvl 61: 23.9%
iLvl 62: 12.6%
iLvl 63: 4.8%

Inferno – Act II
iLvl 61: 23.3%
iLvl 62: 18.6%
iLvl 63: 9.3%

Inferno – Act III and Act IV
iLvl 61: 27.1%
iLvl 62: 21.7%

does inferno belial change his pattern? or has it changed since the patch? in phase 3, when i've got him down to about 1/5th of health left he goes mental with his bombs. he starts by doing the normal pattern, hits the floor, breath then the whole floor goes green and starts exploding. bombs on top of bombs (it seems) with no chance to avoid?

for the first time since i started trying to kill him at 730 this evening i actually managed to avoid the first lot of bombs in the last phase, only for him to repeat the bombs again straight after. no punching the floor or anything.

is it just me being toss? is there a trick to avoiding it? the rest of the bombs throughout the fight aren't an issue, it's those last ones that i just can't seem to avoid!

500 all res
25k health

I'm a monk btw.

ok well scratch tactics. the stand there and smash until it fell down approach worked. first time of trying it.

i find it really agitating when people title a thread 'the official'... there is nothing 'official' about it. Are a representative? NO. Just looking for more replies.

I have wanted this game for a while now actually, but it would be my first MMORPG, and i'm not sure if i would get on with it. But at least it is a one payment only game, unlike WoW.
 
If anyone wants to play with a 2h barb that does pretty good damage(500-600k+ crits with wotb) farming act 2 inferno i am Sycho#2606 also have an inferno hardcore barb that has 1k+ all resists and on act 2 inferno.(have a 60 wd too with 500 all resists, 42k dmg, 58k hp on act 3 but struggling a bit probably due to it's spec....or me not playing it lately)
 
i did belial in the end, didn't bother moving other than to dodge the bombs, he only got to drop 2 lots before he died. so easy in the end, makes me wonder why the hell i didn't do that an hour earlier. doh.
 
Hi guys, for anyone who has levelled both a Demon Hunter and Wizard; which is more fun from Nightmare to Inferno?

I've completed Normal with both so far and there's very little between them, I've been considering levelling a Monk so that it can share gear with my Demon Hunter, is this viable?
 
Managed to sell Lacuni Prowlers for £99 yesterday, was tempted to keep them for a WW barb build but seems silly when you realise you can pocket £84. Wondering if they could have gone for more as they sold in a few hours, but it's not like I got ripped off with it. They had 80 Str/dex, 5 crit and 15 mf to boot.
 
Played Act3 for a few hours last night with my Barb. Died a couple of times, only once or twice due to nasty enemies, mainly due to being impatient and running into mobs with half health and skills still on recharge!
Had a really annoying Elite mob at one point... Blood Clan Maulers with Extra Health, Reflects Damage, Arcane and Molten. Hitting them with WotB on (160k dps) was taking my health down quicker than theres in terms of percentage! Had to slowly wear them down with Rend and keep moving around. Massive change from most elites that I just zerg in 10 seconds or less!
 
Post more pictures of amazing finds guys, its the only reason I open this thread.

Even though I don't play anymore, I still get that buzz when I see a good item :P
 
well the AH flipping went ok last night, logged in for about 20-30 mins 2-3 times to check on my sales and do a few more searches. Managed to make about 1.3m, not massive but since I only had about 900k left on Sunday I am quite happy with my 5.7m now plus a few items selling for 6-7 figures.

And another good thing about doing this is I am finding lots of cheap upgrades for my friend to get ready for inferno act 1, he is on Act 3 Hell atm.

It's not an MMO, you play in your own world unless you form a group with others then your group shares a world for the duration of the group.

I'm not trying to put you off, it's not a bad game, but if you're after a 1 payment true MMO then you should look at GW 2.
 
anyone play WW barb? I am tempted to try it but not sure if my stats are ok for it. Of the top of my head I have about 600 AR (unbuffed), 35k dps, 800 LoH, 250(ish) crit, 17% crit chance. I read that crit hit is not that important so I could try swapping out a 90% crit chance gem for more LoH if required.

May give it a go tonight and try act 1 first, break it in gently. I assume it is not as easy to master as the videos I have seen suggest and that it will take some time to figure out the play style.
