My cats bring in birds (not just small ones, once we had a massive crow), squirrels, mice and occasionally grass snakes/ slow worms. It's a gift toward the owner, thats a nice thing to do.
Mine don't crap in the house, they crap in a soft soil patch in our garden and dig it over after.
Mine protect the house from rodents. I protect the house from burglars with a shovel.
Dog owners never notice it, but dogs stink no matter how often you bath them.
Cats are loyal loving pets who don't roll over and let you tickle their tum just for being present. You need to earn the respect of a cat, play with them, pet them, earn their trust.
Dogs don't care who you are as long as you give them a pat on the head or a biscuit.
Domestic dogs will kill for for fun if let off the leash, you've seriously never been taking a dog for a walk and it's spotted a rabbit in the field, or a cat walking around minding it's own business? And I don't know if you ever heard of fox hunting. Or wild dogs. Dogs are killers too.
And anyway, animals hunting is nature, my cats hunt, that's what cats do.
