-England v South Africa: Test, ODI and T20I series-

Aggers on Twitter says there is a late notice of a press conference for lunchtime tomorrow at Lords.

I really hope that Strauss isn't going to step down :(

Not a chance - KP is finished for England. It would be terribly sad to see Strauss go. I would hope that at least he would continue to open the batting.

Off to the Oval ODI today :D

I've been up since 5 watching the India v New Zealand match. But I have to miss the last hour of play to get to the Oval. It's finally happened... me watching cricket is getting in the way of me watching cricket :(

OK - I'm going to make a bit of a bold statement here, but I think for the first time in at least a decade we're a better ODI side than we are a test side.

Yes I know there's the whole India factor and we got thrashed there, but we are unbeatable at home and seem rather good away from home too based upon the past year or so.

I think England is definitely much improved in ODIs in the last few years. But at Lord's and the Oval the batting was poor from SA. The fact that Ravi Bopara was made to look like the best bowler shows how bad SA were.

Personally I think the India V England Test series will be more interesting than the ODIs.
