15% staff discount from a supermarket (friends in high places or something like that :p).

I've literally only just set it up, just having a bit of a play around. Will need a decent case for it though if anyone wants to recommend one! :)

Im only about a third of the way through it, but liking it so far.

If your not a WoW fan I'd say give it a miss. Its not it would be too hard to follow, but you do need to know a bit about the background and previous novels to get a full grasp of whats happening in the plot. It does give background info and exposition though, so its not too bad.

If you want to start reading WoW novels, start with one of the earlier ones like Rise of the Horde or Day of the Dragon.

I once tried a reply to the "what can I get you?" line with

"I'll take a vodka and coke and your number?".

Didn't work though, but did raise a smile :)
 
I'm never going into Starbucks, this whole rapport you have to have with the assistants in order to get relevant "rewards" scrawled on your cup is too much for me to handle.

Why do they write on the cups?

You don't need to build up a rapport but I go there so often she knows me name, never written a heart on my cup though!

The writing on the cup is because when they used to shout out the order, people grab the wrong cup, now with the name they know which is their own drink.

The other reason is they think it makes the service more personal, thus translate to better, alledgly.
 
Whopper I picked up at the Train station because I was hungry.

Two 500GB HDD's at £10 each from some guy on an other forum that will replace my 320GB IDE drives, yay no more IDE cable! and an 3ware 9500S-8 PCI Raid Card that will replace my 3(4) Port card for £40 from the same guy.

Then 4 Sata 3 Ultra Thin cables and finally an other customs charge from F U Customs for £22 something for an other AmiAmi order, twice in an week, they really taking a mick with that, even more so I can't pick it up till Monday.

But today was good, had a big Kendo Taikai (Competition) in Reading, I won my match by two points to none by scoring Kote (Wrist target) and Men (Head target) I also pushed the poor guy out the court, so he got a half a point against him. xD

More fighting tomorrow. :D
 
I think they're starting to recognise me in Starbucks, I go almost everyday to the same shop and always give a random name off the top of my head, I'm starting to get really weird looks :D
