Yes but if you hired a professional killer you wouldn't put a bomb in the victims' house "just in case" if the killer screws up.

That's like buying a plane ticket to Paris but also booking a train ticket for the same day "just in case".

As to bomb, I wouldn't touch house as it's alarmed,whereas garage, shed unlikely to have a alarm.

Just realised I thought he was Iranian - he is of course an Iraqi - so replace Israeli with generic potential terror target or your choice.

As for the house - as detailed below, it would be very easy to mount an OP and trigger anything you wanted when the family returned - bomb, bio weapons, chemical weapons, wooden box with comedy sized boxing glove attached to a spring loaded trellace - whatever.

All of this is hypothetical though and probably the result of reading too many of Lee Child's Jack Reacher books.

Indeed. I don't believe they were parked up there. If they were he had made a pigs **** of reversing the car as he had went into the bank at the edge.

Looks like the bomb squad was purely a precaution and nothing was actually found.
