OcUK Trackday: Donnington 30th October - £139 Full Day (Open Pitlane)!!

That GTR killed his tyres! Rubber flying off them.

Issue with track days, removing the rubber from your paint work. Though GTR was kicking up some rubber or shredding it's own tyres for sure.

It's stock GTR, but driver holds a race license and according to Ade in the GT3 he's handy. But Ade was really kicking his ass in braking areas, the GT3 by the way is a 996 GT3 MK1 with a pretty hardcore track GEO. Ade is a good driver too and fearless as well, being on a few drives with him and he goes Donny often, mental guy. :D

thats what it was, see the front wheel :)

Screamer pipe, yep. Makes a heck of a noise when it's wide open at full boost, but none with the throttle shut, like when changing gear. That porsche makes no similar noises to a screamer at any time though, I don't get the comparison.

so what would you say is the noise at 4.30 onwards when he changes gear at high rpm?
Gearbox?

I hear no such noise at all?

There is something rattling in the cabin at 4:30, but after that there is nothing even resembling anything other than an N/A engine revving up and down.

what has a screamer got to do with changing gear anyway? Housey already said that it is just induction noise. Shut the throttle at 8k+ and the engine is gasping for air hard, you can hear it in this probably due to the engine location.

So there might be a slight problem with my attendance.

I sent my turbo off for a bit of upgrade work to be done to it, and it would seem that it has been lost or stolen. I'm guessing stolen.

I have no idea how long this will take to resolve, whether they find my turbo, or reimburse me for the insured amount.

Currently fuming. :)

You seem to be very calm about this, or the smiley is you grinning through gritted teeth :p
Hope it gets sorted ASAP!!

Who was the turbo shipped with?
