Achievement/Trophy addiction.

I go on and off them. I have never 100% a game but I am very close with the Mass Effects ... Unfortunately I recently started playing Skyrim, it kinda took over lol.

I just finished 100%ing ME3 making all Mass Effect games 100%. Absolutely enjoyed ME trilogy on Insanity. And enjoying them made the 2nd playthoughs a hoot.

the point of the matter is though, since Crosly is indeed the person am currently on Teamspeak with. games are supposed to be for recreation, for fun and the second an aspect of them becomes an 'addiction' then the point has been missed, you are no longer playing them just for fun.

like I keep saying, Gears of War Trilogy, you ain't going to 100% them all but who cares? they are fantastic games, possibly some of the best in the console segment, Halo 3 with its ridiculous amount of vidmaster challanges an all that balls, again its not going to be 100%-able realistically, but it is a fantastic game with a fantastic story, Rob might be time to give up the addiction. ;)

Beginning to agree.

I don't think you need to tell him, he's a beast at MGS4, posted some speedrun vids and stuff too somewhere

I'm sure he is but what I am saying is completing a game 8 times is a bit over the top don't you think?

I had to play through the first Mass Effect 3 or 4 times and that annoyed me... Long game since I had to complete many side missions each playthrough.

Horses for courses I guess. I *love* the ME games, and have enjoyed every play through, side-quests and all. Well except the effin Mako bits. So getting those achievements I really did enjoy.

GTA IV though, I don't like at all. I literally played for about an hour and gave up. I know I will finish it someday just to collect a bunch of achievements but it will be a chore.

Dont get my wrong I did enjoy it. Love the story! It was just repeating the side quests that many times for the achieves where you need to play through a majority of the game with squad mates. So that was 2 people per playthrough.

Oh god the Mako... So happy that was only used in ME1. Just as bad as the Warthogs from Halo. If not then worse lol
