*** League of Legends ***

Well I'm getting better, feel like i can contribute something and actually nearly always have positive K/D against opponents when I play with Cho'Gath.
Ryze is another i've had some success with but he seems incredibly weak until right at the end which frustrates me as games are over too soon :(

Which brings me onto my next question - I rather prefer to play a caster tbh, and everyone seems to recommend Annie as a good one to start with, any advice on how to play her? gear? etc.. thanks!

Annie is probably one of the easiest AP's to play, she was my first.

You wanna start with Q and max it first, then W, then E, of course level R whenever possible.

In lane you wanna just try and farm for the first few levels, use Q to last hit minions (it refunds mana cost if you kill the minion with it). her passive is really great, a stun every 4th spell cast, so once you hit 6 you just wait till your stun in ready, and ult the enemy followed by Q > W > ignite and maybe another Q, at 6 this is pretty much a 1 shot combo and should net you the kill depending on you are laning against, if there playing a tankier AP then try poke them down to 60%ish with Q then combo them.

That's the general idea of playing Annie, just try practicing that and after a few game's you'll get the hang of landing the combo.

For item build's I usually go Boots + 3pots > 2 Dorrans rings > Tier 2 Boots > Deathfire Grasp > Rabadons Deathcap > Zhonya's Hourglass >Abysall scepter/Voidstaff (depending on how much MR their team has).

You could also go more tanky and go Boots + 3pots > Catalyst > Tier 2 Boots > Rod of Ages > Rabadons > Zhonya's > Abysall/Voidstaff. The last item is really situational and most game's you won't make it that far anyway.

Yeah that's a pretty good game plan. Last hit with Q since if you get the last hit the mana is refunded. At level 5 use Q a few times (you should have nearly full mana at this point) when your stun is up on the enemy and then W him while he's stunned then run away. This is just harass to get him low because Annie full combo can't really 100% to 0% someone's hp in my experience. They need to be at about 80%. Unless they get hit with about 5 procs of tibbers aoe lol.

As for items. You can either go rod of ages first into deathcap, or some sort of chalice build into deathcap. Probably chalice, deathcap, finish unholy grail. I like this more than the double dorans deathcap build that everyone used to go. Rod of ages into deathcap is the safer build since you'll have a lot of health but you won't do as much damage as a double dorans deathcap or chalice deathcap build.

After deathcap you can just get the standard AP items. Void staff, zhonyas, DFG is probably very good on Annie these days. I'd actually be interested in seeing a DFG rush on Annie haha, that would be quite funny.

I've only ever seen videos of people playing eve well never played with or against someone who does. think shes a hard champion to really be good with.

The only problem I've had so far in the 2 games i've played as Eve mid is that she's squishy and melee, so it's hard to lane against someone like Orianna with a lot of high damage poke. Other than that it's pretty basic because she has ridiculously high movement speed in team fights so you can run from everything.

Yeah I haven't actually played Annie since Unholy Grail was made, guess that would be a better choice. DFG rush is really good on Annie, with it you can 100-0% most standard AP's at 6.

5v5 team game where you control a hero (like in Warcraft 3) with 4 core spells. You use these spells to kill never ending waves of AI controlled minions and opposing players to earn gold and experience. You use the gold to buy items which increases the strength of your hero. The goal is to kill the enemy base/nexus. In the way of the bases are towers, so you have to go through the towers first to get deeper into the bases.

I hate playing at weekends. So many trolls/kids around lol.
Just had a game where the oponent vlad didnt load so our mid Syndra ended up getting lee sin.She just fed him so bad it wasnt funny and i told het to get zhoynas or anything with armor but wouldnt.
