*** League of Legends ***

:) we were massively behind, and as the want with some teams they started mucking around - missed the baron, got aced and then we stayed to long in their base (as well as the two randoms being utter twits) and lost 4 of our team. Outrageous that tf managed to just squeeze it. The chat afterwards was pretty sane if I remember it - the had most of the play and lost the game - gutting :)

I honestly thought they had won that game, not sure how TF beat 4 players.

What are the odds of this happening :eek:

Cool story, but think I am starting to get the hang of this finally managed to get more kills then deaths for the first time as... urrg the woman with the rifle that's available this week.

Went for aspd items, really liking the one that shoots lightning every 4 hits. Then another aspd item (40% aspd), followed by mana regen. And by that time the game usually ends. Any suggestions on that? Or should I instead go for damage rather then aspd?

She is a damage champion so

If you have a sustain champ as support then dorrans blade
Boots ->Infinity Edge->Vampiric Sceptre (life steal)-> Berserker Greaves->Zeal->Last Whisper (for armour pen if needed)->Blood Thirster

A lot of the damage champs (Ashe/Vayne/Graves fit this type of build)

Then see how it goes :) Others may have different views which are always welcome.

Alright il give it a go cheers. I do like the aspd approach, but the damage itself is pretty low so far (also mana regen is pretty pants)

Here abilities are icing rather than core, so don't focus on mana, just make sure you have enough at any point for your ultimate to get a kill, or the net to make an escape.

Going with the Zeal and upgrading to Phantom Dancer later (funds permitting) will give you decent attack speed, movement speed and crit chance.

Been playing LoL for a couple weeks now and develop more of a fondness for it the longer I play it. Have played many solo queue's with complete nonce's but it's teaching me to carry rather well. Caitlyn, Twisted Fate and Volibear have been my choice champions.

Zeal to phantom are good but get your damage up via infinity first. Attack speed alone is no good

Another point which I got wrong and occasionally get wrong. Early on her ultimate is good but mid to late you do more damage from her by sticking to normal damage than powering on your ultimate, by the time it has kicked in you would have done more damage.

If I don't have a sustain support I'll start boots and 3 health pots again fairly standard, then dependant how the lane is going will add a doran or 2 or go straight to bf sword

Oh I see, I do like her ultimate as it lets me get a kill when some is escaping so I don't have to chase and hope no one ninjas me from a side. I like leaving lots of traps around and bait enemy champs with the said traps.

Damn stuck at work, wanna try it out already q_q

I was referring to your build order, just that Zeal can be upgraded later to PD if you have money to burn. IE should always be rushed, get that BF Sword and you are on your way :D

Ult is only for picking off people who are low health and beyond normal reach, though any semi-decent enemy teammate will intercept the bullet.

Yeah, Boots + 3 pots, 2 Dorran's Blade, BF Sword is the best start for any adc unless your going Tri-force with corki/ez, depending on how far I'm ahead and who I'm laning with/against I like to get a BT first for the added sustain.

Indeed. That's my build for any AD carry (and that's all I play).

Boots + 3 pots -> 2 Dorans -> Infinity edge -> Vamp scepter -> Phantom dancer (zeal alone is not good enough imo) -> Last whisper -> Bloodthirster -> Guardian Angel or QSS

If I'm playing Vayne I get QSS after phantom dancer, always :p

I don't like tri force on Ezreal either. I go the above build. And if the laning phase is going on for longer than usual I'll get BT first instead of IE, but not that often anymore.

Yeah, I agree, although LW/BT first depending on how tanky their team is, I'm not a great fan of tri-force on Ez/Corki but sometimes it can work, normally if the laning phase is going on for a while, even then I think it's better to grab phage and then go IE and finish tri-force later.

Corki free this week, that means supporting people that think they can play corki cause they watched the pros play them a few weeks ago...being pre-30 makes me sad :(

I know I can't play AD so I don't try, and I don't mind people that are not so great. The worst are the people that are not great, but think they are, and then flame everyone else for their failure.
