Kate Middleton topless..

Judging by the quality of the images I'd guess they are a 100% crop taken from a ridiculously long telephoto lens miles away. It's hardly acceptable to spy on people because of public status.

Just wondering if a photographer can get such clear shots unhindered, what stopping say a sniper?

Probably the same thing that's stopping us blowing up Alpha Centauri despite the Hubble space telescope being able to see it. Lack of a capable weapon.

Just under a mile away for the nearest possible photo spot according to some thread on Reddit

I'm sorry but if you're royalty you don't sunbath topless, ever, no matter how secluded you are. Has only herself to blame imo.

Wow, you seem like a massively boring and lifeless individual. Try spending more time broadening your horizons than getting offended by other peoples private lives.

I can't believe some people are saying it's Kate's fault. If someone stuck a camera through your window and photos of your wife naked were spread all over the news who would you blame? She's a human being like everyone else and entitled to her privacy.

While I'm not saying it's her fault, if you don't want someone taking a photo of your babs then don't get your babs out where there's a possibility that someone can see you, even if it is a scumbag from the best part of a mile away with a camera. She's one of the highest profile women in the world right now, she should know that she'll have these plebs running around after her trying to take any photo they can get.

Wasn't she a bit of a slapper anyway before she met Will? She's probably more happy to get her baps out in public than the Palace would care to admit :p

So basically, anywhere outside?

Or near a window.

I would think that if the nearest point you could be seen from the "public" land is something like a mile away you're about as close to having an expectation of privacy you could have in much f the developed world.

Although the fun thing is, that they've done this in France, a country with quite a strong privacy law.

I expect the Sun editors are struggling to decide whether to publish the photo's "in the public interest" or have a headline proclaiming outrage at what those nasty foreigners have done.

Just combine? "The pictures the evil french press should have kept secret"?

I really don't see the big deal, you'd get more of an eyeful on pretty much any warm climate beach.

Also, nobody seems upset about Harry being pictured with his breasts out :p
