How to deal with a Narcissistic colleague ?

Good old gut punch. Out of sight/out of camera view, preferably just after he's eaten lunch. Wind the mother****** good and proper. Make sure you take off any rings you may wear.

EDIT: This isn't serious, of course.

What others have failed to says is that if he is putting his hands on you pushing you or jabbing you in the ribs.

It's common assault plain and simple, report it to HR and also log a complaint with the cops.

Just mincing around and telling the boss etc ain't gonna get you anywhere, bypass the boss get some confidence and go the Official route that's why they are there.

Other wise GTFO!

before we we had a ''conflict'' he used to speak about nothing but how much money he earns and his 80k BMW ( he doesn't even have a license!),

He has this BMW in Holland? If so. why is he using you as a taxi? Obviously him driving without a license is reason for you to contact the police.

He ''has'' this bmw, as in he brags about it and shows pictures... I've never seen him drive. Just as he ''earns'' 5k per month with real estate during the day with his uncle. Who would he work at sorting post and stuff if he works in real estate. I don't believe anything this arse says any more.

Odd turn of events, today at work he threatened me. Apparently he got an official warning on Monday from the boss... Now he says ''What goes around comes around, not today, but when you don't expect it'' and how he knows where I live ( so do I (where he lives) so erm???), keeps calling me a rat, and to ''remember'' and ''watch out'' every time I see him... All verbal threats. Starting to think this guy is all threats. (barking dogs seldom bite)

Told my 2nd boss about it ( my own boss, who likes this guy, had a day off), who now realises he should be kicked out of work and will keep an extra eye on the guy... I reacted a bit stupid today to the threats by ignoring them instead of confronting him but meh, I'll do better next time, if he touches me ( today he didn't) again I'll simply kick him in the balls I cba with this guy any more.

All I hope is this guy is not so low to touch my stuff like my cars or do crap at my house.

It's good to see you're not even slightly listening to what everyone's saying

I am listening to everyone, including my boss, who said I should handle these guys by being harder to them and that they're all talk and other guys who know him who say he will stop the moment I confront his behaviour...

Next time you agree to give him a lift. Give him a time. Say to him "I have to be at work by X time and if you are not out, i am going"

If he is late, touch, seriously, just drive off. Let him be late for work.

Or better still, stop giving him lifts. Period.

Afaik I'm not agreeing to anything any more after he threatened me friday, next time he wants a lift he can ***** himself.

sounds like your boss is an idiot - its his job to sort this out not yours.
as soon as you are violent all your legal employment protection disappears and leaves you and your boss open to all sorts of law suits.

Exactly.

Clearly the OP is not going to listen to sensible advice and just stoop to the level of the aggressor...

So...who's going to bother giving any advice when he's fired and prosecuted for assault?
