Guild Wars 2

Spent three quarters of an hour running around the Iron Marches this evening. Quite relaxing after a long day at work, even if I did spent a lot of the time battering spiders. :eek:

'tis still very buggy in that zone, and there's a nice new (to me) touch that iron ore is currently coming up with Korean text.



As for age/death... 61 hours on my Guardian main (lvl 54) and 128 hours total during the last 23 days.

I've also died 88 times. Which suprised me. I thought I been pwned way more times that that. :D

I'm only level 33 on my main, and that's after 50 hours.

I'm playing it more like an unpredictable singleplayer rpg, with other fancy features. Looking at it that way the value for money is incredible, and I've got a long way to go before getting everything out of this game.

Im level 41 atm (had two weeks off on hols though) I hit the level 35 area yesterday and its ******** so now just do the story when i get bored of WvW which is really good for the most part. I really do miss the 5 man party instances of gw1 and for an MMO its a shame GW2 doesnt make you team up more!

also the 30 dungeon is horrible (though decent cash and xp) so i hope they get better.

get a fiery weapon or an offhand torch.

turn your gamma up, some people dont even know about the torch and just did it with uber high gamma.

the dark rooms not even that long i could probably almost do it blind now

Just a quick question - Is anyone managing to connect to and play this game on a mobile broadband connection? (like 3 or T mobile). It won't work at all without error 42s on my Full Monty plan, and the first GW has starting DCing all the time too :(

see that hasnt worked for me. i love gw and went bk to wow to see what the changes are like pre lanuch and its BAAAAAD. think wow now has had its day and its about time too there only so much they can do and it seems to be getting worse and worse haha.


as for GW its a nice change i have been playing what seems like ages and just dinged 30 last night. i love the fact you can take ur time and do what u want and teh grid aint too bad 2.

in all...well donw GW2 :D
 
Well technically any light armored wearer could use "skimpy" outfits like that. Elementalists for example. But yea most people seem to make Mesmers look like ****s. Mine just looks like a mage but Im still only level 14 :p so not really got far enough to bother with transmuting.

Although I have bought the Carrion Winged set as I think it looks awesome especially the shoulders. Its a lvl 55 set (although you can get mastercraft ver for 65) so I can use the items when I get to 55 but I can also keep them for when I decide to transmute some of my gear if I don't find anything better.
 
Completedthe Haratgi Highlands meta event last night :eek:

Amazing! Took about 45mins start to finish (starting halfway as well not the whole thing) and it was fantastic. Loads of huge battles, counterattacks and a suicide last stand on a hill with me and a guardian when everyone abandoned us :D

If you havent done this event do it ASAP!
