Motorola release first new phones since Google takeover

But that other Driod phone they released a few weeks back with a S4 had just bad bettery life :S, so hoping this is better.

Motorola Atrix HD? 1780 mAh

From Anandtech:
All around, battery life is good, and very nearly great under LTE.

And the battery life reflects one of Qualcomm's Snapdragon S4's biggest advantage.

Now the S4 with 2530/3300mAh will be great!

Razr MAXX HD looks great. Battery life is the only complaint I have with my Galaxy S II - and it is a BIG complaint.

Hello Moto!

I remember the Engadget review that said the battery was away behind the over S4 phones.

I just watched the confernce, apart form it being really corny the phones are really impressive, for a 4.7" body the Razr HD is the smallest out there, which would be great for anyone wishing to stick to something similar in size to the S2 (Like me), the Razr M is almost the same size as the ip4 which is nuts, if it had a 720p display it would be a seriously amazing phone.

BuyMobilePhones have an expected release date of the 12th of November for the Razr HD.

Hope Moto give details of the developer editions shortly. And maybe news that the Maxx model isn't a US / Verizon exclusive.

It's just a shame the uk version of the razr M is getting an intel chip rather than the snapdragon I guess? Or could this be a good thing? Looking like a decent phone

My guess is that this won't be a good thing. It could affect app compatibility. The San Diego was not good in this respect. A different version than the US + Motorola's past history on locked boot loaders could mean little in the way of community customisation.

The phone pretty much just dropped off my Christmas list.

Looks great. Just seen the One S comparison vid on phonedog. Think I'd take one over a HOS if it came out here.

A very bad, bad thing... The S4 is vastly superior to the Atom, SGX540 plus whatever turbo speed they've done to help in benchmarks.

Unpopular EU motorola phone using a niche SoC that requires lots of work for app compatibility? No thanks...
Motorola are also optimizing for the S4 in th US and it looks quite a bit better than htc. (gaming, batterylife etc) we're getting shafted in the UK this year.

WAHEY! A lovely glowing reiview from GSMArena. Batterylife  and Camera/Video . All bodes well for the RazrHD :D.

For the Razr HD yes but as has been said maybe not so much the Razr M with Intel chip. What is the intel chip like? Pity they didn't stick with the S4 chip for UK? Weren't Motorola making some announcement here (UK) today?

The 2GHz Intel Atom chip is so fast, that the Motorola RAZR i starts the 8 megapixel camera under 1 second and can take 10 pictures in less than one second. At the front, there's a 0.3MP snapper for making video calls.

 sounds pretty rapid!

Perfect size phone for me, at a decent price range aswell!

Just need some reviews to compare the battery life and any software compatibility issues.
