Manchester Police Officer killed during arrest.

They've just reported that the second officer has also died :(

It sounds like they didn't have any clue anything unusual was going on when they arrived.
 
Desperately sad news, and to think the cowardly **** just hands himself in afterwards to save his own life makes me feel sick. :(

Very sad to hear two police officers have lost their lives in protecting us from this type of scum.

In prison it's known that people who commit crimes against children have to be segregated for their own safety, but how are people who commit crimes againt police officers treated. Hopefully it's the same.

Sadly, some idiots in prison will revere them.
 
Being on my patch, it's one of those days I'm rather glad I wasn't manning an Ambulance today.

Genuinely heartbroken, we work along side the Police a lot, there's a good change I know them professionally.

It was only a couple of weeks ago that intel had reach the Ambulance stations that Dale Cregan still had in his possession 11 grenades from Eastern Europe and wanted a 'death by cop'. It's one thing the armed police going to a known firearms incident, but a whole different world two police officers who are unarmed being killed.


Truly a sad day for the GMP, The Police and Manchester.

Hope every single day of his remaining time in this world is made a torturous hell until he eventually hangs himself in desperation, personally. Spineless cretin killing unarmed women; deserves no more.

I seriously doubt it, had it been called through as a firearms incident he'd have had the armed Police to 'play' against, something you would imagine he would want, not killing two non-armed police officers on regular duty. (On the side note, I refuse how all the media play on the female element, we live in a equal society now, it should make no difference if it's male or female).
 
He'll be out after 15 years of 3 square meals a day, pool table, sky, ps3, gym, and education/rehab facilities :)
