But but

1) it can do better depending on the game
2) stulid has already stated 1080p so kind of an irrelevant point even if it was true
3) stulid has already stated as well that he wants a nVidia card so any AMD talk is off topic

:p

The problems with sweeping generalisations like you've made is that they're rarely true.

All true, but the OP didn't set any buget so it's easy to 'spend' his money and the 670 is around 25-30% faster at 1080P on most indexes.

I have to say I love my GTX 670 windforce 2X - worth every penny IMO and should last a few years.

Whisper quiet on loud so I'm not going to bother water cooling it which will save e the cost of a water block.

I voted for the GB 670 WF 2x.

I've got the 670 WF 3x myself. I can't fault it. I'm assuming the 2x is only marginally different. Not seen reviews tho tbh.

You wont believe how close I came to buying it at that price;) I was just about to enter the debits card security code:D

Hehe! I'm hovering over the buy button right now! Just think it's a bit overkill for just 1080p! What made you go with the 3X over the 2X out of interest?

Something was going funny in the back of my head, a bit like "you want the full fat version"

And the price I paid was only a tenner more.

Look what came today.

Its all fitted in my old Z77+CPU, now the only thing is I need to buy a Bitfenix 8pin PCIE cable for it (I already had two 6pin ones for the 570 and what was going to be the windforce 2X)
