McLaren back on track for madness?

It's so happy.

It certainly is!

They're not showing the interior off at Paris, so it'll be a body/vehicle buck only.

Pretty sure they're using the same monocell they have on 12C for P1, so I doubt there's any room for a centre position!

All three McLaren cars will use the came base carbon tub, so no 3 seater.

The windows are blacked out because its a model. This is just a concept, not a production version.

I think it'll look like that (I'm sure there'll be the odd tweak), as they car will be out sometime next year / early 2014 I'd have thought, so not really much time to change the looks much!

Yeah the changes will be minor ones around meeting legal requirements. I'm assuming this will be used to get a bunch of pre-orders in, so they can't really go radically changing it.

I do really like it. It is a nice change from the rather 'safe' styling of the 12C.

Also, McLaren need to fall out with Vodaphone and start painting their F1 cars orange again! Its such an epic colour!

McLaren are the only manufacturer that I get excited about these days. That looks OOOF. Rumoured 960bhp with KERS from that website above. I might have a little pant explosion. :o

Just noticed the styling cue in the lights, the McLaren logo. Very nice.

Right...

What could they implement that could clear water in a torrential downpour?

Would need wipers to be road legal me thinks.

" Apparently, water rolls off this material, eliminating the need for windscreen wipers."

Would love to see people drive with a constant stream of water down the windscreen driving at speeds as low as 40mph.

Ya no wipers is weird. What happens if you go past a tractor and get mud all over the windscreen. No way to clean it off without pulling over and getting out the kleenex..... rofl

They have a race version of this one as well apparently, you know like they had with the F1

O RLY! That would be epic!

Its a shame that there are no race series for it to compete in though :(. Even the stock 12C has to be detuned to compete in the top levels of GT racing around the world.

FFS, you post 2 pictures and decide not to include the rear shot, easily the best angle.

Car is stunning, OP fails! :D
