So this is my big one!! Deadly Premonition by FAR the best game on the 360. A game that on one hand has flaws yet on the other has none... a truly perfect game that rises... no soars above its individual parts. Lets take a look at some highlights;

* An amazing story with twists and turns.
* A brilliant cast where everyone is a potential suspect.
* A living breathing city, where people go about there business depending on the time of day.
* Fun mini games (Darts, Fishing, Card Collecting)
* The Amazing Grace scene and those final few reveals!!
* Spot on comedy.

Gears on the other hand... well although no other game on this list could compete against DP I thought you could take the first and last chapter and not lose anything really. A pretty safe and boring sequel that didn't take much advantage of the fact it was closing a popular trilogy.

Gears 3 all the way. Great story, great MP, improved feel and movement. Loved it.

I played both, GoW 3 was far far superior for me. The MP actually worked! and a great story to finish things off (Kinda .. the ending had a sense of rush about it and some important questions went un-answered but meh)

Anyway - GoW 3.

Deadly Premonition has too many areas that are well below par and a totally mental storyline isn't enough to make up the difference.

I've never even heard of Deadly Premonition :<, but I really enjoyed Gears of War 3 so that gets my vote.

Just as a side point DP is 14.99 on Live. If you like Silent Hill cross with Shenmue with a large cast of characters this game is for you. The best game ever for 15 quid how can you say no!?
