Stupid question re. washing car

People seemed horrified when I took my brand new clio 200 for it's first wash at the shell jet wash... thought the brush did a good job of getting off the dirt.

I like the hostility towards the people who detail tbh...

£400 a day, most likely more than 99% of the people in this thread will ever make ;).

Some people care more than others, simple as. Same with anything in life.

LET'S ALL GET ALONG AND SPONGE / MICROFIBRE WASH EACH OTHER.

Just a standard sponge?!

Yep. The mitts are overrated imo, rather just buy a new sponge for 50p a couple of times a year than £20 on a mitt. Mine didn't last that long and went all manky before.

As long as you look after your mitt there's no reason why it should need replacing for years.

Mine looks like new still and feels it too.

Sponges are bad for paintwork anyway. How much you notice it I guess depends on the state of your current paintwork anyway.

I'm getting hard, tell me more big boy :D

I've never heard the term 'sand in my vagina' until today, and I've heard it twice now :D

There's a brush for that. :p

The vaginal rim detailing brush, if it's deep in there you need the deep cleanse soap which is extra.

Make sure you buff it off.

Yup, you hit the nail on the head there, all detailers make £400 a day in pure earnings (profit) washing cars.

Typing up my notice as we speak, can brush my back, my skin needs softening before I was it all :D

It would probably cost £400 and have carbon nanofibre weave bristles, the most advanced brush in the world.
