Swear more scores have been posted, seems only the high end cards have bothered to post.

Nice work - thanks for compiling.

Does show that it is indeed Extreme AA which gives AMD cards the lead.

Do you guys play with it on? It roasts my GPU(s). :(

Off-topic I know, but I've bought and received a Sapphire 7850 from here. Said it came with Nexius (not too sure if the spellings right) and Sleeping Dogs.

I received a voucher for 'Nexius' but nothing for Sleeping Dogs.

Have I missed something here or am I being stupid haha?

One of my mates didnt get Sleepin Dogs with his 7850 either.

Probly buying this game in the next week or 2 and will post my 7950 OC benches to compare as i havnt seen a 7950 result yet.. im curious :)

Picked up Ghost Recon: Future Soldier yesterday so been playing that.. Awesome game! ;)

I don't believe they have sent any codes out yet for those who purchased 7800/7900 cards, they were supposed to get sent on the 7th but there must be a delay.

For anyone having the daytime stutter bug, there is a patch coming soon...thank god!

There is also a first person mod out which might be fun :)

As above but with high AA. Extreme AA really does take a hit on frame rates...

This game is my new stress testing tool for gpu overclocks.

I thought my card was stable at 1.175 1200 core 1600 memory. However after 15-30 mins of playing on extreme my game would crash.

At first i thought it was a temp issue with this game only but after lowering volts to reduce temps the crashes came quicker.

Turns out all i needed was a bump of 1 voltage notch and now after hours and days of playing no more crashes. Now running @ 1.181 fully stable, highest temp while playing on extreme 80c.

Also appears my 7970 can handle the heat well as ive heard other users reporting that with a hefty OC they need to keep temps low.

That's my cool story bro for the day, thanks for reading.

Do you actually play on Extreme?

I know the 7970's handle the compute based AA far better but even with the results you were getting I would rather drop to High especially as the visual impact is minimal.

p.s.

Runs smooth as butter rusty on extreme, whoever said you need dual cards for it was talking out of their behind tbh.

The benchmark just runs you through some extreme moments and even then at 37fps minimum it feels smooth.

In game its between 45-60fps all the time with vsycn on.

I dont think the compute AA is worth it in terms of the extra heat and performance hit. Doesnt look any better than 4xMSAA to me.

I respectfully disagree, but i am a graphics whore. :)

Once you've had a sample of decent game time on extreme, going back to basics is out of the question.

One thing i can agree on is the strain it puts on the gpu, get an extra 5c+ on temps when using extreme. However much like the L'Oréal adverts my gpu takes the stance of 'because im worth it'.
