DPD Delivery Drivers Are *****

Well i ordered a gfx card from OCUK friday for sat delivery.
they text me at 9ish saying it would be here between 10-11am, 10.10am knock knock.

perfect :)
never had any problem with them

I live in Chelmsford and I come home each day and turn off at the A12 Boreham interchange, DPD seem to finish work at about the same time as do and majority of their drivers (by majority I mean 95%) drive like complete a-holes.

Speeding, aggressive driving, swearing (fingers out the window) are all common sights when a DPD driver is around, but saying that if you can put up with some uneducated sexist, racist oaf delving your goods they are actually very good at their jobs.

Had the same issues with DPD, had many a parcel delivered no issues.

Then one day I wait at home, nothing, check the online tracking 'couldn't locate your home, plx collect from warehouse'.

They are pretty useless.

Paid for Saturday delivery and they never came no information either nice ain't it? I can't be in on the weekdays to wait for it. I don't even know when my stuff is coming now.

DPD in my area is top notch recently. They work with german precision and dedication compared to others. Worst one of the bunch is Yodel. My girl ordered something on wednesday night with 24h delivery, seller shipped it on Thuesday, Yodel guy arrived on Saturday, left the "you were away" card with just a date and "See overleaf for details" marked. No parcel number, no collection reference, no postcode marked, nothing. Cannot reschedule online, cannot collect personally (because there is no postcode or parcel number, so this card would be for any property), no indication if they will attempt to redeliver. Now, that's service.

Oh, no it's not!

All depends on the driver who covers your area. Where I live now Yodel are the most incompetent. Had 3 collections booked with them on different days and the driver didn't show up for a single one. And there's no Telephone number you can ring. They also have one of the worst trustpilot scores I've seen for any courier company.

Rebooked with Citylink and driver shows next day first thing in the morning. DPD text me when they're coming and my local Hermes driver is also excellent, if I'm not in and miss him I can call his mobile and 9 times out of 10 he will come back to redeliver.

But of all the places I've lived by far the best courier experience has always been with TNT.

God dammit.

Just had an email through to say failed delivery, I walk downstairs to find I've been carded 3 mins before. No doorbell was called :(

DPD have failed today for me

Rather than be bothered to even try and deliver (Crucial SSD from here, OCUK) or post a card.

They updated the tracking status to : 'Unable to locate, directions required'

WTF: Its a business address, on the main road in our town, large business sign above the entrance, with ample parking!!! Just putting the postcode alone into a satnav will get you 15m away from our entrance!! Even without the street No.

Perhaps the status should actually read: 'Driver could not be arsed to attempt your delivery or even post a card, so tough ****!'

Thanks DPD!

DPD have always been spot on for me, always delivering on time in the 1 hour window I get told they're arriving in. Yodel/HDNL however, I could go on for hours about what a useless bunch of ***** they are. I will actively avoid any company who uses them as their courier, unless I'm in absolutely no rush for the item whatsoever.

Completely agree.

Got an email this morning saying DPD would be turning up between 13:20 and 14:20 to deliver Mists of Pandaria.

At 13:21, the van pulled up outside the house. Can't complain about that at all. No muss, no fuss.

Yodel however ...... *******!
