My nearest depot is only an hour away. My item boarded the van at 8am and was scheduled to appear at 5.30pm.
It has now reverted to 'At the depot'.

However, my stuff did turn up eventually. Given the rain we're having oop north I think they deserve a thumbs up.
Give the young delivery lad a Greggs Pasty from me.

I live in Chelmsford and I come home each day and turn off at the A12 Boreham interchange, DPD seem to finish work at about the same time as do and majority of their drivers (by majority I mean 95%) drive like complete a-holes.

Speeding, aggressive driving, swearing (fingers out the window) are all common sights when a DPD driver is around, but saying that if you can put up with some uneducated sexist, racist oaf delving your goods they are actually very good at their jobs.

This is most def not the sort of thing we want to hear. We take your comments very seriously Freddie1980. Can you drop us an email with more details so we can look into this? [email protected]

Had the same issues with DPD, had many a parcel delivered no issues.

Then one day I wait at home, nothing, check the online tracking 'couldn't locate your home, plx collect from warehouse'.

They are pretty useless.

Paid for Saturday delivery and they never came no information either nice ain't it? I can't be in on the weekdays to wait for it. I don't even know when my stuff is coming now.

Just had an email through to say failed delivery, I walk downstairs to find I've been carded 3 mins before. No doorbell was called

DPD failed once again must be about the 5th order I've made in a row where its being delivered the day after the date i paid for delivery. When placing the order i selected today Monday 1st as someone is going to be home to collect it and its just gone 19:27 and i get an email stating my order will be delivered tomorrow the 2nd. Getting a bit tiresome now especially since next day postage for a keyboard was £7 and it cant even be delivered on the day I've paid for. Nevermind mentioning the saturday delivery i paid for once and the same happened again it never turned up...

I have this laminated and stuck on my front door.

Problem with this is that the driver won't usually have a work mobile - I've done work for a courier last week and couldn't call a number given as I had hardly any allowance left on my phone.

so my order came then went.

wasnt my usual guy, who is probably the best courier i have ever dealt with.

the van pulls up so i head downstairs ready to open the door.

no one comes to the door, so i go to the living room to see if the guy is still there.

for about 10mins the guy is in the side door of the van throwing boxes from the front to the back.

he then goes to open the back doors, when i here an almighty "for **** sake"

another 5 mins of throwing stuff about. he goes back to the side door.

i was laughing to myself at first, until he shut the door got in and drove off.

there goes my order.

The fact he was rummaging through boxes, swearing and then took off probably means your order wasn't there to begin with.

As for my local. Two times now they've texted me to tell me they'd deliver on a particular day and both times they've done so.

yeah i knew that from the start, he could have came and told me that.

never had a problem with dpd they are the best out there. i know i will get my order one way or another.

I had the same problem as well,

Ordered something from Amazon and they said it will be delivered yesterday between 11-12 and my mum was at home all day.

around 1ish I get a text saying that no one was home, er my mum was home all day and they left no calling card and I had to rearrange the delivery for today.

This is the first time this has happened to me, normally dpd are good but this time they were a let down.
