This is how i feel about bf3 tbh, i gave up caring about k/d or w/l ratio months ago. It can be a very frustrating game now. I just play it for a laugh. Ak is pretty good, on btk some of the maps are pretty demanding system wise use. As for the original maps, particularly metro, damavand peak and grand bazaar. What idiots thought of theese. Nothing but choke points that lead to a spam fest of grenades/rpg's/tanks etc. Metro in particular, or as i call it the farm. As it's a point farming map if your support or assualt.

Hehe. 178 ribbons and 3 medals and 3 service stars. It went on for a lot longer than I imagined and I had to get into work this morning so am really tired. Good fun though.
Not the normal M320, it was all with the LVG. My new favourite noob gun. I was just plinking nades down the stairs with it and causing mayhem. I got 7 deaths with one of them!

A little bit more maneuverable, but the AA on the ground are a bit more troublesome. Can't remember but I think missiles got nerfed a bit so you need guns as well to get a kill.
still pretty much the same! ECM is a lot more reliable stingers AA missles can still be out turned but gotta know when to turn... rocket pods do loads of dmg vs infantry! just mobile AA does a lot of dmg now but the sky roof on AK maps is so high u can unload 3-4 sets of rocket pods on vehicles before having to turn away!
Thanks mate. God to see they fixed ECM. So have they reverted turning back to the 2011/early 2012 levels? Been playing allot of Tribes of late but may come back for AK

I've got a mate round mine who's just bought BF3 and we were looking to play but it is going to take AGES to download, is there a way I could copy the bulk of it from my machine to his to speed up the process?
Or is there a way I can get origin to download quicker? It's coming down at like 1mb/sec despite the fact I have 75meg fiber

I've downloaded this today because I have literally nothing else to play till the S.T.A.L.K.E.R mods come out and I was bored as hell. My God, this game hasn't improved at all and if anything it's got worse.
What a waste of 17Gb.
- Origin is still an abortion and a pain to use. It keeps asking me to download the 'update' plug-in even though I have it already. It feels the need to open 3 windows just to launch BF3.
- Randomly shuts down in the middle of games and goes straight to desktop without any explanation or any sort of logs to tell me why it shut down.
- Absolutely full of campers. Every game mode is full with them, it literally looks like the rejects from COD have come to play this game so they can prone a 3 hour match and go 3-0 at the end of it.
- Russians. Russians everywhere. Literally half the squads had some sort of 'rus/RU' (like they're actually proud to be Russian) in them spamming chat with sideways/upside down letters. They also don't seem to know how to use the server filter properly be region because mine is set to U.K, Germany and France only and they're full of Ruskies.
What a waste of 17Gb.

Sounds like you were in a RUS server? Very few russians on the UK servers?
Origin runs unobtrusively in the background. Make sure origin is running and you're signed in (which it usually is anyway), open battlelog, join game. 3 webpages?
No problems with random shutdowns here either.
Any FPS game you'll get those people 'camping' but do snipers camp? If you're playing Rush, is it camping to setup your 200 round LMG with Bipod covering an entrance to the MCOM? IMO no. Anyway I prefer Strategic Loitering.

Never had a problem with Origin myself. Not saying its perfect but maybe people overreact a bit. Load Origin, click BF3 and Battlelog loads.... Never had it crash on me during a game.
If you played Rush then yes you got a lot of campers, its called defending
You get campers in all game modes. They've been in all Battlefield games from the word go and pretty much all online games.I almost always play on UK servers and very rarely encounter Russians. I bet you joined a Russian server by mistake
