1. Why do you want to win a Corsair Professional Series HX+ 850W PSU?

Because I currently have a Corsair TX and as good as it is it's not modular and the surplus cables are annoying! :p

2. Why is the Corsair Professional Series HX+ 850W PSU so good for Overclocking?

Because they don't explode like Q-tec Golds. :D Or perhaps it's the industrial grade components, over current/voltage/power protection, under voltage protection and short circuit protection... oh and up to 90% efficiency!

Because my CX600 isnt really cutting it - it cant support multi-GPU's, it isnt modular and it doesnt have the new fan tech

Because i currently only own a CX400 and i need a psu with more power, for when i upgrade my graphics card soon, and Corsair is a name you can trust.

2. Why is the Corsair Professional Series HX+ 850W PSU so good for Overclocking?

As usual, Corsair only use the best components, are world leaders in the production of quality pc components, and you can truly trust any of their parts in your pc.
And also you can trust their claims about their parts performance, unlike some other less reputable manufacturers.

If it's made by corsair it's bound to have quality components, giving you the two key components for overclocking: stability and protection. Not to mention a kick-ass warranty to boot.

Because I currently have a budget PSU and really want to OC my components and expand to dual GPU in future (don't want to risk all hardware on current PSU).

Plus being modular would be a real help because I'm terribly messy when it comes to cable management!

Because i've been using a fairly average PSU for 6 years now and i would like the peace of mind that comes from a top quality product for my precious components that i cannot really afford to replace. Going modular would also save a LOT of hassle in a cramped case.

Because my girlfriends pc is in need of a big overclockers upgrade soon and this would allow me to buy 2 7870 graphics cards instead of 1 for her.

Because Corsair are generally the best in market for the enthusiast due to the very long warranty and the protections in place on the latest series.
