Because Corsair is one of the best, if not the Best manufacture who is making Power Supply's.Extremely quiet, reliable and efficient.It has 7 years warranty, and this mean is solid rock.
I still have HX520 in my Computer, and working flawless for over 5 years.

It has best Seasonic components inside, lots of power, and very stable SINGLE 12V rail which providing 70A.I can relay on this Power Supply in 200%, and be sure that my PC is safe when Overclocking.

850w is plenty for OCing ant cpu othere and will still be an overkill. Also corsair uses seasonic parts which is known as one of the best psu like corsair.

Because my mate borrowed my XFX 1000W Black Edition Pro '80+ Platinum PSU and returned it to me broken....

Because its heavy and I can use it to whack my mate over the head with, and it has cool blue stickers and connectors obviously.

Why wouldn't I want to win it? That's just crazy talk, who wouldn't! I also want to build my ultimate one graphics card PC (which I just bought all of the parts for as I am weak and would like something free to balance out the guilt for the money I have just spent)

I don't have one (yet) so I am just guessing that they wont start a fire after the first overclock, probably not as noisy as the one I have now, very reliable so I read.

Because I would do something useful with it and I will be able to experience the corsair experience. I have heard of the amazing RMA support and I will be able to give my 500w OCZ to my brother. If I have it it would make my parents electric bills significantly lower as it is more power efficient compared to my 'awesome' value psu that was £30 and is only an '80 plus' rating, not even bronze.

2. Why is the Corsair Professional Series HX+ 850W '80+ Gold' Modular PSU so good for Overclocking?
It is extremely efficient and the voltage is pretty much good for any type of computer that does not have 6 cpu's etc... I believe it would help my journey into the overclocking world and if I do get it, It will match my INTEL things :)

Its from a great company that makes great products. 850w should power a great system overclocked. And it being a 80+ Gold would be great for volts and electric current. :)

Being modular and 850W (and looking good in black and blue) it'll easily cope with the crossfire and watercooling I want to add to my system :)
