GTR or Spec R or Type R?

S2000s aren't Type Rs

GTR is a Japanese relic, can see it being an expensive lesson too
S15 nice and tuneable, not sure if they improved handling over the S14
S2000 newer car, values have dropped. Nicest standard option. You could get a nice one and SC it for the price of the other 2

Drive all 3. They will all offer something very different

I know there not Type R's I wrote it by accident and couldn't figure out how to change it :P

I always said to myself if I ever buy an S2k I'd SC it! Can be done for a decent price and performance figures are pretty good!

Go for an R32 with stage one and ~1 bar boost, will be very reliable and more than enough power, especially coming from an Ibiza :)

What sort of power will that push?
To be fair, ibiza isn't half bad! Gives e46 m3's and evo 8's a run for their money :)

My mate has an evo 8 fq 300 and my ibiza is pushing 202bhp 265ft/lb of torque and weighs around 1000kgs. So no they are not parked.

Don't understand why people are suggesting R32 over S15 :p

400bhp ish - more than enough :)

I've driven a lot of cars and nothing compares to the R32 GTR, feel of rear wheel drive with the grip of 4wd, unbelieveable cars to drive. I've owned a newage JDM STi and driven a lot of other cars but Skyline is king :) I've driven the Silvia but only in Auto so doesn't really count, haven't driven an s2000 but owned a DC2. DC2 would prob be my overall choice of cars for myself (unfortunately had to sell mine due to personal circumstances) due to running costs but if I could afford it I'd have an R32 all day long.

Those look like the Ultralite wheels we had on ours, love the look of it personally :)

Drive both and it will become clear ;)
You said you have only driven an auto S15! :p

I don't deny that the Skyline is a cool car, but for the price it will cost to buy, run and maintain there are far better all-round options imo. I have always thought of them as cars which you buy because you KNOW you want one, not because you just fancy a change.

To be honest I have looked at getting one quite a few times (R34 would be first choice but is way too expensive and the R33 doesn't float my boat) but just can't get past the age problem :(
