GTR or Spec R or Type R?

I think I'm going to go for a Silvia now anyways, you guys have convinced me.

Plus, it would be more suitable to my needs compared to a GTR.

Not a chance, here's the list of bits I had to do to mine to reach 450hp on stock turbos -

For me the choice would be the R32 for pure capability.

S15 is a gorgeous car and it runs the same SR20DET as the 200SX which can be tuned to a decent standard before having to throw silly money at it. I believe 330bhp ish is capable on standard internals?

Would you not consider a 200SX? They are so similar bar obviously the ever so slightly modern interior (I actually quite like the interior in the 200 tbh!), a LSD as standard, 30% larger wing mounted intercooler (it's so cheap to go FMIC that this is almost a moot point) and a 6speed box. They are the only differences that I can think off the top of my head. I appreciate appearance wise the 15 is a prettier car but the 200 is far from an ugly car!

Just for reference the S15 and S14/A engines are not exactly the same. They run a different turbo, coilpacks, wiring etc

Also they are a 200sx? Or to be picky a Silvia as they were only available to the UK as an import.
 
14 have LSD standard too albeit a viscous unit rather than torsen type. It is also an ugly car with a naff interior, to make one look good you need to spend out on it a bit. 15 comes sexy as standard.

I agree with you unless its a S14A much better front end. Also the touring interior isn't to bad so longs it's black leather and not cream!!

Nah. The facelift front end looks like it is grafted on from another car or something. Hard agressive lines do not match the rest of the car, pre-fl at least has a design that flows, all the best ones are pre-fl anyway. Still ugly compared to a PS13 or S15. Much in the same way that R33 is ugly compared to both R32 and R34, funny how that works huh.
