I think I'm done with UT team now. Div 4 with a bronze team because I can't afford anything else and it puts me against 5 star gold teams with 100 chemistry. It's a joke! I've lost about 7 in a row now.

Most people have gold teams, probably having a hard team match making you against another bronze team. Can always just play bronze cups.

Agreed, UT is so far removed now from what makes a good game of football, try H2H in seasons and you will find a much better football game, UT is slowly returning the arcadeness to Fifa, if Pro Evo played like UT does then it would be slated on here.

I have no idea why they have to give UT steroids.
 
Has anyone used Mertesacker? I bought him as a substitute for my UT team just to see what he was like and actually he isn't bad at all. He's obviously veeeeery slow so you have to back away from attacking players but his interceptions and stuff all seem really good. Plus it's great when your opponent is running at speed and all 6'6 of Mertesacker just flies in with a clean sliding tackle to win the ball. :D

managed to scrape through division 5 with 10 points giving me some coin to buy in, its amazing what upping chem does, went from 45 to 80 and ive won 3 in a row in division 4

Not yet, but I live in fear of the epilepsy pitch from pro evo 4 with the light and lighter tight stripes, many a game quit on the basis of "can't handle the pitch" in a high pitched/drunk voice...

I typed a big huge post the other day whilst on the train on my phone about the improvements to player & manager mode and how it's much better etc but I refreshed the page by accident and lost it :o.

It's going well, but slowly, as I'm having trouble dragging myself away fom UT to play it. I think I'm in November now, top of the goal scoring charts, and have improved to a 74 rated ST. Looking forward to getting the season finished so I can return to Everton and hopefully make an impression there next season :)
 
Anyone built a Russian league team yet?
Need a plan for my first gold team, got about 40k. Russian league is usually pacey and fun.
