What do you guys do with your silver teams? Are you just good enough to challenge the gold teams in seasons? Or do you play the silver cups?

I've just used mine for the silver cups and there is the odd silver requirement for the seasons (both against the AI - I'm awful against human opposition! :p)
 
When I scrap the Italians I might try Bundeslig, not sure between 4-1-2-1-2 or 4-2-2-2 though, With 4222 would go Gotze & Reus behind Gomez & lewanowski
 
How do you play 3-5-2? Every time i play it, I get completely slaughtered. Iv'e been trying 4-3-2-1, but that's still pretty dodgy.

Dunno really its just the formation i feel most comfortable with in this and previous Fifs's.

No problemo. These players are for a 4-1-2-1-2 formation, but you could easily swap a few out if you use a different formation...

GK: Weidenfeller (82, Dortmund) - 2-3k
RB: Gebre Selassie (75, Werder Bremen) - 1-2k
CB: Niedermeier (75, Stuttgart) - < 1k
CB: Matip (77, Schalke) - 1k
LB: Aogo (75, Hamburger) - 1k
CDM: Tymoshchuk (79, Bayern) - 1k
RM: Obasi (75, Schalke) - 1k
LM: Barnetta (79, Schalke) - 1k
CAM: Diego (83, Wolfsburg) - 2-3k
ST: De Jong (79, Borussia Munchengladbach) - 1k
ST: Mandzukic (82, Bayern) - 2-3k

Those prices are only rough estimates, but it's easily within your 30k limit, so you can swap players out for better ones in whatever positions you fancy. I've used all except Diego and Matip (I already had players in those positions from packs), but I reckon they'd do just fine.

Edit: I'll also say that the prices in the Bundesliga seem so much cheaper than elsewhere. You can get 87 rated Mario Gomez up front for around 23k, whereas similar rated players in the BPL or La Liga will cost you probably double that.
 
Is there no way to set a custom formation to default? having to pause the game to select it is stupid. Or is there a way to change formations in game?
