Just about managed to catch up last night, had fallen behind, it's rather nice to have a few to watch though!

They seem to be doubling up on some of the episodes fromt he previous years, so we haven't had any 30min episodes so far which is good.

Big glasses girl is really starting to grate on me now, she is too much.

She is stupidly excitable. But then she is a teacher, primary school/nursery I would assume, in which case she's probably quite good with kids!

Kylie is hot. And not annoying (so far). Have to say, there aren't really any annoying blokes this year (maybe Filippo/Buscemi, but he's kept fairly quiet the last few episodes), unlike Aaron, Alvin etc from last year.

Oh yeah, and what's with the even more horrific opening theme song this year??!

Cant abide it, every time i see "Big Kev" do his surprised look into the camera i die a little bit inside, then grubby Kath nearly falling over just puts the icing on the cake.

Thought Julia did well last night but isnt coming across as a likeable person, and apparantly im the only person in the world who hates Maggie Beers....all Australians seem to love her.

Agreed...new title music is pump.

Julia reminds me of the bird who used to present '10 Years Younger' (Mrs S watched it so that my excuse :D) until she was kicked off and replaced my Myleen Klass as she was too old.....

The only people who are annoying me so far are Crying Tea Cosy, Steve 'I Am Great at ALL BREAD.....oh hang on, the judges don't agree' Buscemi, Julia kind of.....not much of a personality just hard faced exterior and Big Glasses. All the rest seem to be non-entities so far. Agree, Kylie is definitely 'Bracket'.

Am guessing that Maggie Beers is an Aussie Mary Berry then?
 
I know what you mean about trepan, but her face is mmust wrong.

Loving this series, UK one needs to take note and not be so harsh. Get rid of Roux first.

I like how the presenters help them and its obviuse a lot of teaching happens behind the scenes and they actually try and progress them all in their skills.
 
I just watched the elimination episode between Andy and Sam (at the pub in Stanley). What an *awesome* episode. This is why Masterchef Australia is so much better than ours.

And omg, Rick Stein returning, excellent. And ^ Jamie Oliver, hmm, ok cool. And erm, Lorraine Pascale...! Obviously made a name for herself in Australia.
