Fined for chucking a apple into a hedge

Basically, a man was fined for chucking a apple core into a hedge.

Opinions?


Personally, I think it's ridiculous. If anything, it's adding nutrients to the soil and no-ones going to care about it in a hedge. If it was a can or a crisps packet, I would understand. But not a apple core.

My mistake.

And that's madness. One wotsit = £75 fine.

Doesn't matter where it was thrown. It's rubbish and should be disposed of in a bin. There's a real problem with people littering in England and I see no problem with a blanket rule against it. It's laziness and ignorance that makes someone think it's okay to dump rubbish. Even if it is a single apple.
