Not sure if it's masculine really, more as mmj_UK said, the association of shaved/skinheads with violence and crime...
 
isn't the bald thing because it typically means they're more sensitive to/have more dihydro-testosterone?
 
Surely its the amount of hair on your chest that defines how masculine you are and not your head. No?

I find this post very funny.

But not for the reasons the poster intended.
 
I shave my head because it makes me look cleaner, yes it is effort, yes it is extra effort and shows that I'm trying.

But nothing wrong with wanting to look presentable all the time.
 
I razor blade my head every 2 days i have noticed a change in the way people treat me its a good change not that i had a bad experience before but it certainly does alter peoples view of you.

But then im a quite a fairly built guy so it works.


Thats me in the mid was ****ed out my face but yeah just wanted to show you guys my plateu of a head haha. Im actually just 6ft but im a bit bent over in the pic.

I suppose if your short and have no hair it can look weird it really depends to on your head shape the whole having short hair makes men look masculine cant apply to all and i wouldnt necessarily say it does to me either. \o/ Im just lucky myself that my hairs gone thin that when I shave I have decently shaped head that suits being bald which im so glad of because if it was any other way It would probabaly make me self concious to be fair.

I have hair that grows too fast and most of the time it's a nuisance. That said I look at my bald and blading friends and colleagues and am glad I have a full(ish ;)) head of hair.

If I could look as cool as Captain Picard, then maybe I wouldn't mind, but every one going for the shaved look just comes off as potentially thuggish, or more usually, a bit like Phil Mitchell. :p
