Aqua Computer Aquastream XT USB 12V Pump - Advanced Version

I've never owned one personally but from what I remember reading a while back the d5 is a better pump. That's not to say it is bad though, just to say there are probably better alternatives

Also if you don't cosmetically like that CSQ top, shop about, many manufactures make D5 top's, I'm not too sure whats happend to OcUK's D5 Top selection, used to have 4 or 5 different ones, these days just the 1?

I quite like the koolance D5 top :D

That koolance top does look nice, expensive though.
So for a pump/top what would you recommend, loop will be 2gfx blocks, cpu, 240x80 and 360x80 rads.
Colour has to be black and maybe if top wAs seethrough/acetal and would like to control through my aquaero5 controller to make a fully automated system.
In otherwords when running low intensive tasks the system should be almost silent and as intensity rises so should flow rate, fans, etc. this is why i asked about the pump in the op, can it be done with another pump/make??

Edit :What about the alphacool HF d5 top in plexi?

I have the Alphacool D5 Plexi top, Love it, though the plexi is already starting to fracture around one of the inlet threads :(

I also had to send a top back as its that brittle it cracked while someone at OcUK fitted it for me :(

Good tops, just fragile IMO.

yes afaik pump speed on the Aquacomputer D5 will change when set to do so in the software :)

Is your pump just sat on the sandwich or have you somehow screwed it down?

Nick, what about the one I linked to, it's tougher Acetal so good for first timers like us, and it's well reviewed :)

That Aqua Computer looks lush, they really know how to make stuff that's tough as old boots but look lush at the same time

I've got their full GPU water block for my GTX480, looks the bees knees :D

Looks good mate, loving the sandwich
So although that top looks great, would you recommend an alternative for a first timer?

I wouldn't not recommend it, its a nice top, just take it easy clamping it up, its very easy to damage.

Its just sat on at the moment, I'll fix it into place once I've moved over to a new case and replaced the top, though I'm debating getting an EK dual-D5 top that mounts inside a 5.25 bay facing inwards so the rear of the pumps would face out the way, making speed adjustments simple :)

I haven't put a pair of grips near my top and its still splintering, its no where near bad enough to leak but its got me paranoid enough to want to change it.

Hand tight will do.
