I listened to Grimmy's first show for about 1 hour and went back to my mp3 players. I did love radio 1 and had it on almost every day at work, a few years ago. But a lot of the new presents just talk about themselves. I might just be getting to old I put radio 2 on from time to time now

Anyone else noticed how forced Tina sounds when talking to Grimshaw, he tries to be all pally with her and she just gives him yes/no answers......Head unit turned up today so goodbye radio!

She's now 2 floors up so isn't in the same studio when she reads the news and sport. It must be quite a shock for her with such a radical change in format.

It was time to rid of Moyles certainly..... I can't say I disliked him, occasionally in the morning it was a laugh... bit it had got very tedious and Moyles was getting more and more full of himself.

The new guy - he'll take time, it's a brave thing to come in after a show that's been established for so long.

I know there's been a little bit of uproar over Radio1 wanting to cater for younger audiences - those people just can't face the fact that they are at a time in life when they should really now be tuning into radio 2.

It must be most of us getting older. I find myself tuning more into radio 4 for a break from music and to pick up some serious points of conversation and views for the day :-D

I listen to Radio One pretty much all day (cant stand the adverts on local radio)

Due to the amount of times they have been mentioned, appeared as guests and had their song played, I think they are going to change it from BBC Radio One to BBC Radio One Direction

Seriously...I have never liked them, but now I HATE THEM!!

I used to switch the radio on at 6:25 am, for radio 1. Then when the cow mooing sounded just before fearne spoke i switched it to radio 2., where it stayed untill i finished work. now it just stays on radio 2.:(

Whenever I listen to Grimshaw I immediately start to visualise Keith Lemon. Which is not good. So for me the breakfast show now consists of someone continually doing a very poor impersonation of a particularly unfunny comedy character.

What a contradictory post.
First you say that because you are bored of him it was time for him to go, then you realise that actually if you are bored of him it's time you stopped listening.

he didnt say 'bored' once. He simply said it was time for moyles to leave because he had grown tedious and full of himself..

bored/tedious, who cares. Essentially its the same thing, he's fed up of listening to moyles so thinks it was time for him to go.

And to add insult to injury, there's a clip from the teen awards where they're quoted as being the biggest or greatest group on the planet or something similar! I can't remember the exact phrase now, but when I heard it my jaw dropped to the floor, rolled away, and got run over by an 18 wheeler.

******* awful group!

I am actually not regretting my move to Radio 2 one bit. I quite like the complete chalk and cheese music you will get throughout the day. Enjoying the drive to and from work at the moment and again decent evening stuff when I am cooking.

Having solo djs talking constantly instead of a team of people bouncing off each other and having a laugh is tedious.

Grimmy was talking about eating Justin Biebers sick by the teaspoon the other day.

Ugh.
