I would totally love that I do enjoy build up play much more. Just a shame I don't have 500k :p might give that a whirl though manic and see if I can pick up some cheapy pass/vision/attk work rate players.

Anyone got any tips for the crossing skill challenge? Got past Gold but having trouble with reaching 30k score. Its the one where you cross to one of two players and need to score. defender in the way
 
If you want a passing / vision etc. team you won't do well though, unless you are a really, really good player. That's just Fifa. So you will find it very frustrating.

It's the only way Fifa is to be played :D

None of this pace abuse, hate it, it's just boring :( Really shows that someone can't play the game when they use it. :D

nothing like passing and setting up a good goal ;)

That's what I do at the moment, but a lot of it depends on laying it off to someone with a decent hit on them, from around the D. I need to get a load of players with better movement in and around the box.

If someone is any good at defending, you will struggle to score goals without at least one quick player in your team. IMO ;)
 
Oh yes of course, I'm not saying build a team with NO pace or you'll struggle to score 1 goal.

What I'm saying is that the "pace" teams that people build just to abuse pace to win. That's what grinds my gears ;)
 
You could quite easily setup a team with decent passers in the midfield (or straight down the middle) and pace in defence and attack - best of both worlds really. Pretty much how I set up my teams...

Just started on UT myself, only in Div 3 so await on the pace abuse teams, the ones Ive already met are just laughable simplistic that its obvious.
