If you're single, working 30+ hours a week, on minimum wage, no kids, over 25, no other income, I calculate you get about £150 per year working tax credits. The problem is, I've been told by someone that works for the job centre you will get £2,000 a year working tax credits.
I've gone through all the sites/calculators on this question and it still comes out to basically less than £200 quid a year.
Can anyone clarify if this daft bint at the job centre is right.
