Ireland finds oil!

August 5th 2015

Shocking news as Irish potato famine returns with a vengeance, Origins of this escaped from the oil reserve found 3 years ago...

;) I call dibs.

What's the water depth in the Irish sea? Guess that will have quite a big impact on the feasibility as well as where they can process the oil and gas.

It's not in the Irish Sea though, it's off the South coast of Cork, in the Atlantic. I'd guess it's quite deep. This amount has been deemed viable to extract. Previous amounts were too small to be economically viable.

Also, lol @ Gerard; this is GD, the more you react the more you shall get ridiculed.

Sense of humour bypass?
Not really.

Didn't really want to call attention to it as I normally like Mag's posts, but that attempt was pretty crap. I've heard good Famine jokes before but this registered as something unfunny made up on the spot just to arbitrarily mention a 'bad-taste' subject.

Jesus wept, you too?
