*** PC Gaming - Daily Deals Thread ***

Know we've prob had this discussion before, but how is CJS Keys? If ya sign up to their Facebook fan page you get 50% off or something. I might make a spam FB account just to get the code, then buy BF3 (Russia version, how is it?). Just sound a bit dodgy all in all

The discount code is usually only worth about 50p, it varies by game but very very rarely more than a quid. CJS are okay but I've had 3 keys that stopped working (they were removed from my Steam Games), not sure why but they did replace them so obviously knew they weren't quite legitimate. Don't bother preordering from them if you want a game on release date as they nearly always miss (just check their Facebook history for comments on every big game).

Personally I'd rather spend a touch more and use somewhere else but if they have a great deal then I still buy from them. I wouldn't say it's a dodgy site but it's not run that well and they have a weird attitude to customers when things go wrong, particularly when deadlines are missed and often resort to outright lies about release dates.

I see CJS sell the game boxes etc after the cd key has been sold, they say:
These game boxes are ideal for PC Gamers on a budget who want to play a used game on single-player without online authentication. They are also ideal for customers who bought a CD Key but also want a physical disc to keep, to save downloading the game and have a physical copy in hand..
Doesnt sound very legal to me, to sell a game twice, I didnt think you could play a game at all unless it was authenticated.
They do have F1 2012 Steam key for £17.50 though, very tempted

Not sure if posted but:

Has to be one of the worst selection of games, how is that company still going?

Bit harsh...

Some enjoy their selection of adventure games, their newest sherlock game is meant to be rather good..

I purchased Yesterday many months ago and it was actually a good game to waste a few hours with..

£11.99 for a package of adventure games isn't too bad, and see the testament of sherlock holmes is £18 - did consider this one at full price..!!

Anyone know a good place to buy xcom?

Was going to buy from GMG but their site seems to be screwed, they removed the 25% code and changed it to 20% too :p i think it comes to 24£. I'll still grab it from there if there is no cheaper.
