3-5-2 is so comfortably the best formation i have used. People say it sucks on the counter but all you have to do is show people wide and let them cross, never let them, cut inside, because your CBs lose headers so rarely now.

Well you have Ba there for headers so why not just have out an out wingers that will cross with their stronger foot? 9/10 times you'll cut in and play to Ba's feet, you may as well have a more agile, lively striker in that case. Aguero?
 
So, 352 is utterly useless for me except for my Bundes/EPL hybrid. As such, I've gone to 4321 - and it seems to be a lot more solid. I found 4 defenders last year a nightmare, but it seems this year they're alright.

If I'm not going to get anally probed, I have to play ultra-defensive, but it leaves my wingers behind and they don't get involved. Considering they're about 200k combined, that just won't do.

Currently going with this for the time being, possibly going to replace Johnson with Walker, but he's doing well and is pretty solid at the moment, plus he has better passing.

I like Jovetic, he's pretty amazing, but I brought on Welliton last night - not played with him - and he's ridiculously good, clawed back a draw for me in the last 5 minutes, which I was pretty chuffed with, but we'll see how he is starting matches - plus he has a better base chm, due to linking up with my LF:

Welliton
Neymar - Hazard
Kaka - Ramires - Mata
Santana - Hummels - Vermaelen - Johnson
IF Adler

451... Its ok. My full backs feel a bit pointless (maybe because they're rubbish mainly). 5 in the middle is pretty handy though. So naturally 352 would make sense, but seeing as it's so easy to get shafted by a counter attack, I don't think 3 at the back is good enough. Might tweak with 4231/4321

What I like about 451 and to extent 4231 is that the really good player seem very capable of using their lone ST as a hold up man very effectively and when they attack its like a whole wave of player come in to support - and both formations are pretty sound at the back too. 451 with fast CAMs looks very potent to me, but again I guess it suffers the same issue as 352 where playing a passing game is nearly a hindrance in 13...

Good games mate, cant help feel I got a lot of the luck with the ball and interceptions, I just couldnt do anything with it. Think we were well matched though once you get more used to the game Ill be dead meat!

352 in FIFA 12 was much much stronger than what it is in FIFA 13 - I really do notice now that I have only 3 at the back - mainly because during wing play the furthest CB comes into the middle and leaves acres of room on the other wing for the attackers to exploit - all the formations do that though, just with 3 at the back it leaves half the pitch wide open :p

All you can do really, look for the average market price of a player and try to get him cheap, rinse and repeat.

I'm finding that, I try 352 with anything other than my Bundes team and it just feels awful, everyone is slow and sluggish, nothing seems natural.

I have like 400k just wasting away as I can't make a team that I enjoy using.
 
Currently playing 433 with normal CMs but could I get away with playing 2 CAMs out of the 3?? Without converting them to that position. Also the same for ML/MR playing has LW/RW ?

This is for my gold bpl team.
 
Yup, the only thing is they will be on 7 chemistry rather than 9 but as long as the team is still at 100 it won't make any difference.

It happens for me too, if you go to the top of the list and press up, it will put you at the bottom of the list, then scroll back to the top and it will have refreshed, you can invite people then. :)

I love it personally. Good balance between defence and attack imo.

I am just looking at cheapxboxlivecodes website now to get 12 months live. How quick are they at deliver of the code?
Also I guess they are reliable?
