*** The Official FIFA 13 Thread ***

Settled on 4321 for now. I just feels so much more solid at the back, and I'm just loving the way it feels, and plays. Won more matches than lost over the past couple of days. Happy days. I have one 'main team' at the moment, and a band of rubbish people for resting while I save up for my second team.

What I have currently:

Welliton
Hazard - Neymar
Mata - Ramires - Ronaldinho
Enrique - Vermaelen - M'Bia - Johnson
Cech

Ramires' stamina is pretty shocking but I can't see there being a Brazillian CM/CDM replacement for him - I like going for a slightly more defensive CM in the middle there. Once their price has dropped, I'll be looking to pick up Maicon and Kompany. Neymar also only gets 5 CHM, but he plays like he has 7-9. He's scored in pretty much every game since I've assembled the team in it's current state, as well as assisting a bunch.

And the planned team in the works:

Torres
Bale - Navas
Silva - Alonso - Sneijder
Alba - Pepe - Chielleni - Abate
Marchetti

I have a few of the players, but still have a lot of save up for but it will hopefully be nice. :)
 
I swear the game decides who is going to win before the ball is kicked, far too many times having 4 to 5 times more shots than the opponent, he gets one from an acute angle and scores.

Also what is with ultimate team, game plays at 100 mph it is complete garbage, why have they got it on fast forward?

Sengasson Sunderland cam. On my phone so not sure about spelling. He's the boss for. I've tried mata/silva to lightweight Rooney tries to hard then is kanckered by 70th minute. Sunderland guy ticks all the boxes for me

Try Richarlyson? Brazlian Silver CDM, use him in my silver team and he is really good, fast, strong, right place at the right time, scorcher long shots and scored 1 of my 2 Scorpion kicks! :D

Just dont get too disheartened while moving to tactical if you get whooped a lot, FIFA 13 attacking AI just makes defending much much harder, so dont take that as a sign that you suck at tactical defending, more that it takes insane effort to keep a clean sheet most of the time...

Obviously EA have kept in the times where your defenders just decide to ignore your inputs or you just cant select the right defender in time...

Thanks for the advice, am going to have a few seasons against the comp just to get more used to it. Just so used to playing it a certain way so it will take time!

Yeah I'm good thanks. I stopped posting in the Sports forums years ago now, just started to go to other places for my sports discussion needs lol but I suppose as I got older spend less times on forums, especially after getting married. Still do browse around on the other forums when I get time though!
 
Decided to try a Bundesliga 352 with Podolski up top too. Didn't have much luck with it the first time around but gets such positive reviews I just have to try it again :o

Definitely need to have some games soon - you'd probably beat me tbh, I'm horrendous on UT :(


Been far too busy with FUTWIZ and work lately, though should have some time to play UT soon :)
