A haunting video

There is a point of Youtube, I have learn't so much from it.
I was amazing to complete a 60 mile bike ride on cycle wheels I had made myself - thanks to Youtube.
I can also see the point of forums to discuss a common interest and talk over problems and soultions.

But Facebook and Twitter? Even the celebs are getting in hot water with it now.

I cant make sense of what you've just wrote.

Lol! I am saying that Youtube has its uses, for example, I learnt to build bike wheels with no previous experience.

I am also saying that I can see the point of forums to discuss a common interest such as cars or computers.

I struggle to see the point of Facebook and Twitter, gossip is dangerous at the best of times.

Closing Facebook wouldn't achieve anything however as these cyber-bullies would find alternative routes.
The law needs to be tighter with tougher sentences for this sort of victimisation.
At one point, if you were being bullied the hell ended when you went home. With todays technology you can be bullied 24/7

Nothing good can come from Social Networking Sites.

This is wrong, if it wasn't for Facebook I wouldn't have found my lost cat (got friends to to share a status of mine with their friends and quickly got a message from someone saying they'd seen him in their street).

Also, look at the people who used Facebook to get the community to start a clean up operation after the London riots.

Yes Facebook can be responsible for bad, but to say it can never offer anything positive isn't true.

What ever happened to Facebook's age restriction? I swear when i signed up to it all those years ago you had to be 18 to have an account, that seems to have gone out the window now.

I don't get why people get upset over stuff said to them on the internet. Back in my day when MSN IRC used to be up ( we're talking what 14-16 years ago now? ) I'd have daily threats of death, violence, threats to my family etc... It was all just another day on the internets.

Even with that said it's very sad that it came to thing and my thoughts are with her friends and family.

Such a shame. How could the girls parents not notice something was up and give her more support? Again I know its easy to sit on the outside and criticise after these things have happened but they must have noticed a change in their daughter's personality?

Either way its such a shame R.I.P.

I would say they did know given she was hospitalised for swallowing bleach, placed on anti-depressants, overdosing a second time and swapping school 3 times including moving to her mother's in a different city.

The FB guy tracked her down and the other pond life that slept with her saw a vulnerable girl and took advantage... Scum.

Surely the person in question "could" be charged under a "paedophile law" (forgive me for not knowing all the facts about which law it woudl come under) as he was in possession of nude content from a minor?

I am pretty sure in America there was a case not long back (posted here) about how girls (minor) sent such images to boys and they were investigated under a paedophile law...

Sorry if that makes little sense! It's because I don't really know the laws around this stuff!

Facebook has it's uses but it's very marginal.

90% people post rubbish i.e. i just had a shower or i just went for a dump.

how does this benefit anyone? i find facebook is mostly full of depressed people complaining and bitching and/ or attention seekers.

i think the only interesting post i saw within the last week was an old school friend who posted a picture of jupiter through an Iphone 5.

I know this was probably in jest, but most depressed people are very good at hiding it, and wouldn't spam it on Facebook, they are just attention seeking :p In the same way that this girl was probably very good at hiding her problems from her parents, and they might have known something was wrong, but they wouldn't have known what it was because it's unlikely she was opening up to them. A lot of the time kids (myself included) don't realise that you parents would die for you, they have your best interests at heart even if you don't think they do, I can't imagine her parents thinking "**** her, she can drink bleach all she wants".

As it's been said, there are multiple problems in the situation, but there's always an ignition, that's the guy that leaked the photos, if it was the guy that Anon have leaked, then fair play to them.

Edit: I just watched the video of the girl and her flash cards, I hope they got the guys name right, I hope the **** gets killed.

What surprises me is that amount of hate she is still getting via various online feeds. Seems that people see that she made a mistake and deserved what she got.

There are some very sick people in this world, they must have absoultely nothing going for them at all, to get any pleasure out of this.
