WHO WANTS SOME OF LATEST YET TO BE RELEASED GAMES FREE?

Not sure if serious

I bought a 680 and a few days later it went for £20 cheaper. I moaned but then just accepted it...Life deals us these things at times but better not to worry about it :)

I'm not that worried about it haha. It will be annoying that's 100% true. But I'm not too fussed, just saying really.

I hear ya. It annoyed me but after I thought about it, it just made me grumble under my breath :)

The GTX 670 PE I bought was on weekend only, saved myself £10. The day after it went onto week only for £10 less than I paid. Now this :O.

Still, the thing I'm annoyed about the most atm is the fact the GPU doesn't work :/ Going to contact Asus tomorrow about my motherboard.

:(

I hope you get it sorted quickly :)

A nice price and a few games included might very well persuade me to click buy on a GTX 670....

I doubt there will be price drops, instead added value. Shops like added value a lot, it rolls right off the tongue :p

Have been looking at 7950s to replace my 6950 as I could not stretch to £300+. If this is a 7970 or 670 then the wallet might an airing !

If the games cost nothing then sell them at what would be 100% profit and use that profit to offset a good price for said items!!! ;)

Promotions work with price aswell as goods!!!

Promotional price?
Promotional goods?

Same thing, just another way of luring the consumer! ;)
Or
Carrot, donkey, stick springs to mind!! :)

The point is, they probably cost OcUK nothing because AMD/nVidia have paid to have these games bundled with their hardware.

The publisher of the game isn't giving the game away to OcUK for giggles ;)

Hm, so reading again you have to purchase item(s), so it is either a GPU model or manufacturers range (ie HIS 7000 series). 7970 cards start at £311+ so a £60 cut seems unlikely, though it is limited to tomorrow only (allegedly with new boost models on the horizon). 670 models are £299 and upwards, so its a £50 reduction there. Did I dream it or was there a 680 on one day only for £330 last week ? (I only saw them when sold out) This would indicate a £50 ish price cut from basic models without the game sweeteners. So my guess is a pair of 7970 models from one manufacturer will be reduced to £250 tomorrow only with the games, probably pre-order (Sleeping Dogs would already be included, so it is essentially FC3 and Hitman, with £6/20% from Warfighter). If so, I'm in.

Or it is a non-reference 670 down to £250, oh dammit, I don't know, its all too confusing after a heavy weekend and working out the above has overheated my brain cell.

Where does it say tomorrow only?

Thanks yoda

Logic tells me this will be an NVIDIA card because AMD have had a couple recent price drops anyway and with prices the way they are AMD cards are probably selling well. I should imagine it is an NVIDIA strategy to make the market more competitive.

However i would happily like to see a £250 price tag for a 7970

"logic" would say it's an AMD game since Sleeping Dogs is an AMD Gaming Evolved game, additionally with the items starting from £250 suggests a 7950.
