*****The OFFICIAL OCUK 2012/2013 Fantasy Football League*****

bang on average 49pts

I would have had at least 1 point more had I actually transferred a keeper in as I had Friedel (did not play) and Federici (injured).

Still, it does mean I have 2 free transfers this gameweek.

Yaya Toure

He is one of those players you'll regret selling the week after, but I'm tempted at the moment as he's had a few bad weeks.

Down to 72nd at the moment! Dammit..

Aguero and Cazorla in for next GW. Midfield duo of Hazard and Cazorla. Hoping that works!

Thing about Yaya Toure is my heart says he is overpriced, but my head says he is one of the few Man City players who rarely gets dropped. There are midfielders in a similar price bracket at Man Utd (Young, Kagawa, Nani, Valencia) that should arguably give better returns, but again how many of those are in the team week in, week out?

If you got loads of points for just playing then Joe Allen would be a show in but as he rarely gets assists or goals he's a 'waste' of money. Sure he might get clean sheet and playing bonuses and he's cheap but he's not worth it IMO.

Hands up who else had Mark Noble on the bench?
What makes it doubly annoying is he was first sub and Danny Graham didn't start so I was hoping he'd get subbed in for +15pts. But no, Graham got thrown on for the last 8mins :(

Only one player of mine scored this week.....Ryan Shawcross! And I don't know what he did, but he managed to get 0 points as well.

I swapped Bale for Pienaar this week and was pleased when I saw Bale was not playing....then Pienaar gets sent off.

Worst week so far for me. Oh and also Yaya Toure still = :(

On the otherhand, at least I didn't swap him out for Piennar.

Yer I have Sterling in. After a good start to the season I have hit an average-to-slightly-above-average points lull. I have 4m in the bank now though, probably 1.5m profit I think. Anywhere that tells you out right?

Just add team value to the bank. Mine's 103.1m and 1.4m so total of 104.5mil. If you go to transfers and just get rid of everyone that'll tell you how much you actually have to spend (as you only get 50% of a player's increase in value) - mine's 102.2mil.

Really struggling to know what to do with my midfield this season, seems only really Mata and Hazard are getting any points (currently got Toure and Nolan as my only mainstays in midfield)

Michu has as many points as Mata and Nolan isn't too far off the pace either. If you have the cash then I'd expect Cazorla, Bale and Gerrard (once they've played Chelsea in a couple of weeks) should give decent returns. Fellaini and Pienaar slightly cheaper options from next week, plus Ben Arfa.

Perhaps part of the problem is that some of the so-called big teams like MU, MC and Arsenal don't have a completely settled team so there can be an element of risk involved compared to years gone by. At least with the likes of Fellaini and Pienaar you know they will be in the team every week when available.

My midfield comprises Toure, Hazard, Sterling, Ben Arfa, Dyer. Dyer has dropped off now so I'm going to sub him out.

Have put berbatov up as captain, hoping he pulls a blinder this week :D
